I have had a nice experience with them. I asked for truck and they provided me with 2018 Dodge Ram , super clean and nice colour. I have reserved through website, paid in advance and got an amazing discount. For 8 days I got the truck for 827$!! Nice deal. Dropping off the car was easy, just fill the tank. Thanks Avis for your help and support

I've traveled all over the world and rented cars in many cities. Our polite, respectful counter agent, Mohammad, was so helpful, and ended up giving us an upgrade to a BMW! Great car, great service, great folks!! Could not have been more pleased!!!

We rented a car on the wrong day by mistake, within half an hour we told them the mistake and they told us to speak to the manager - who was not there at the time. They left notes for the manager, but the lady on the phone said to bring the car as soon as possible back (which we did - we did not even use it, drove it home, then back to the rental company) she said the sooner you bring it back the more likely you will receive a credit or a refund. This was not the case - no refund was issued nor a credit. What was the point of bringing it back then? The car was literary used for 30 minutes only. If I knew there would be no refund or credit I would have kept the car the entire day then returned it. I mean show some customer service, you want me and others to come back and use your services then do something for your customers when mistakes happen. Never going to use AVIS again, and will let all my friends and family know not to rent cars from your company. EDIT: Changed from 1 star to 2 stars. Manager called me back after 10 minutes and issued a $30 refund. (The car was $89 - made it $59). The fact that I told them I would rent with them again the next day (the actual day we were meant to travel - and this was told in person the day before the manager called) should have in my opinion given a full refund or higher than $30. In any case, the manager was nice and the gesture was good, but customer service needs improvement.

I'm an avis preferred member i arrived to the airport and they wanted to charge me 20 dollars per day for winter tires. There is not an actual preferred area so you have to do a line and pick up the keys.
