The manager VINCE here cannot be trusted. He will preach Enterprise is a family business, but will not hesitate to put his "family" greed/profit ahead of you, your needs, your family, your business, and your schedule. I rented a car for a month (this is now my 3rd or 4th consecutive month and I've been loyal to Enterprise for over 15 years now). They gave me a Chevy Malibu. The hood was dented, the car had a tire that deflated every 3 days, it was missing the door handle and had scratches all over, the ac stopped working at times with a strange water sound coming from the motor and it seems the car was in a previous accident and had its share of issues. I agreed to a monthly rate of $950 which is far higher than the $600 I paid in the past, for the clearly troubled vehicle which they insisted was fine, which I lived with. When extending my rental period for another month and calling 2 weeks ahead of time to confirm in advance, he said I was a valued customer, and he would ensure I got the same deal and best rate and that he would extend the booking at the time I was dropping off the vehicle. He insisted there was no point to do it in advance. I came in, AND HE TRIED TO JACK THE RATE UP TO $1,300 from the $950 was paying. When I complained and said I called him ahead of time, he said "well if you want a car now, that's the rate you're going to have to pay because you waited till the last second and now we're booking up". He ####ed up my schedule to make me wait till the last second, and threatened me with the increased rates knowing I will not have any other options available. HORRIBLE ETHICS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE, PERIOD! THERE IS A SPECIAL PLACE IN THE WORLD FOR PEOPLE LIKE THIS, IT'S CALLED THE GARBAGE. I've now been on the phone with enterprise for a week. They are completely useless. Supervisors don't call back, managers don't call back, nobody cares. Family business... yeah right... ripping families off is more like it. I've called managers/supervisors who fail to return my call and claim that they have extraordinarily high queues of complaints they are dealing with so can't tell me when someone will deal with my inquiry. I'm now stuck with no car, plans for the weekend that will likely be ruined, and I can't work because Enterprise has left me stranded and they don't care at all.

The staff here are great! They are very efficient and courteous even though it appears to be a very busy location. After booking a reservation with them online (I recommend this rather than calling), they had my vehicle ready as promised with hardly any waiting. They dealt with my insurance company without any issues.

They picked me from garage where I left my car for repairs and brought to their office at 4700 Dufferin. Upon arrival driver gotten out of the car and left. I was left locked in the car because rear doors could only be opened from the outside. Luckily another passenger realised the situation and opened a door for me. One star for quick delivery, minus one star for customer service. Next thing a clerk at the counter has told me was something I have never heard in my life before: my credit card was declined. Why? Because he attempted to charge almost three times the amount of money quoted during reservation. Minus one star for ethics. The car has very low mileage so I have to add a star. One star is left unassigned. The return process will determine which way it goes. Stay tuned. Returned car earlier, so they had a balance to refund. Refund is by cheque via snail mail. No stars: they have received payment in full up front via an electronic transaction. The refund by cheque simply ... would not work for a foreign tourist returning a car few hours before departure. Received refund by cheque on Monday exactly one week after I've returned a car. Considering the distance of less then 8 kilometers between my house and the branch where I have rented a car the one-week delay seems excessive. Nowadays one week is the time that passes between me placing an online order for auto parts and their delivery. The difference is that auto parts come from Japan and the Middle East, not a warehouse down the road. So definitely no more stars to add to my rating.
