The team at the Dufferin location were great. Their systems were down and they still had me in and out without an issue. They got me a parking space for my car and when I returned had me in and out quickly. Great job. Thanks

When my last truck broke down over 2 years ago, I started renting from Discount Yorkdale location. This was only supposed to be a temporary situation until I purchased a new (used) truck. As it turns out, I decided instead of purchasing a truck (and have to deal with maintenance issues), renting would be a better solution. It does cost a bit more than having my own truck, but not having the headaches of dealing with the maintenance makes it worth while (not to mention that the rental trucks are always fairly new). The staff has always been very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Discount Yorkdale .

Rented a truck to move some large furniture. The staff were really helpful and tried really hard to make sure I got value from my rental. Made sure I was aware of additional charges and fees that may be applied. In the walk around pointed out minor damage (scraps etc) that I didn't notice. Tip: take a picture of the fuel level before driving... and fill it to just above that level when returning because you will burn off alot of fuel being stuck in traffic in that area.

From making the reservation on the phone to returning the vehicle, it was a pleasant experience. I found it better to call the location directly to get accurate vehicle information. The only problem is that you can't leave your own vehicle on the premises. You should have to find another place to park.

Hello my name is Genesis and I'm located in Toronto, Ontario. Myself and a friend made reservations yesterday to book a car each and we both got email confirmations that mentioned the pick up location as well as the time for pick up. My friends and I showed up at the location at exactly 8 a.m to pick up our reserved cars to find out from the team here that an email means nothing and that we are under 'open.' This means that our confirmation is NOT in fact confirmation and we are on a waiting list. At no point was this communicated to either of us through email or by phone - one of my friends had actually called the location yesterday to confirm our booking. The team at the location is unable to help us because they do not have any available cars. My question here is why would you accepted and send a confirmation email if you do not have inventory to provide the service you are meant to? Moreover, why would you put your local employees in this position where they cannot help their customers properly. Finally, we had made plans for today, with reservations and bookings, based on the fact that we would have a car available. My friends and me are very frustrated and dissatisfied with the overall experience with your company, the lack of transparency is quite concerning for me as a customer. Currently, we are forced to wait and see if by magic a car becomes available this location. I encourage you to create a better customer experience where such things as 'open' are communicated clearly and where a email confirmation actually means a confirmation.
