Excellent service. I have not rented a car in a long time. I went three weeks before and got a quote and all questions answered clearly and professionally. I went two weeks before to set up the reservation and again had all questions answered by someone else clearly and professionally. They were the best rate from the other two agencies I checked into. One agency in fact couldn't quote me a total price until the day I would rent the car.

For now Avis gets one star until my husband and I go back tomorrow to try and pick up the rental car for a second time. Tonight was a major headache we have rented three years in a row now never had a problem until tonight. Something about running credit and paying in full. Which before we usually paid afterwards. Regaurdless the lady was rude and didn't want to deal with the situation because they were closing soon. So now I have to come in at 7am. I'm praying with everything I have that it is someone else working who is nice! If not this one star will stay. If everything goes smoothly I'll glady change it back to a 5 star rating.

Rented a vehicle in New Brunswick New Jersey from Avis. So when we first walked in to the Avis location in New Brunswick New Jersey the representative was very rude as she expected us to sign the agreement without a walk around of the vehicle. Thank God that we did because the first vehicle had a huge chunk of rubber missing from the side wall of the tire. Finally after the representative took a few shots of vodka " lol "and calmed down she gave us a 2018 Toyota. So on our way to Detroit on interstate 80 west the vehicle starts to vibrate when going over 75 mph. Drove 70 mph to Detroit and called the Avis 800 number and explained our concerns about THEIR vehicle only to get put on hold for almost an hour. We went to a Avis location at 34703 Van Dyke in Sterling Heights and got put into a bigger vehicle with no questions asked. A BIG Thank You to Agent "CORLISS" for resolving and understanding our concerns. Agent CORLISS was able to do in 10 minutes what took hour's of waiting on the phone with the customer care representatives from Avis. Definitely will reconsider our next rental car agency options. SORRY AVIS BUT YOUR LACK OF CUSTOMER SUPPORT GIVES ME NO CHOICE BUT TO RENT ELSEWHERE..

Been renting cars for the past few months from this location. I have a special request and they always try to accommodate. All the employees there are exceptionally pleasant even when they are slammed with people waiting..
