I have always used this rental service. This time I was very disappointed. The car was small, and road noise unbearable. I had my ear buds in the whole time. Sorry, you need some more better vehicles. May try somewhere else next time.

Woman at the counter was so incompetent that she couldn’t get me a rental car. She told me I have to come back tomorrow to get a car cause she didn’t know how to. Avis should have properly trained people working alone.

Will never rent from Avis again. Returned the vehicle on time at Erie Airport and arrived to an empty desk with a sign stating that all staff was away from the desk and to leave any keys in the lockbox if returning. Followed the instructions and left, only to realize a couple weeks later that I was charged a “late return” fee. Calling Avis to get the fee removed was a nightmare and still hasn’t even been resolved. Add on top of that, the online reservation system (not through the Erie location) charged me for my rental 3 times. I received a notice a week later by email about the error that stated the refund would be processed in 7-10 business days. I waited 10 business days and when I still hadn’t been refunded, called customer service. They then told me they initiated the request and it would be 5-10 business days until the amount would be refunded - nearly 6 weeks after the initial charge. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was told it “would be the same.” When I asked why I had to call to initiate the request in the first place, I was told their was no record of me ever receiving an email and the agent insisted, even as I read the email aloud to him, that the email did not exist. Worst customer service ever, I’m still out $500+ in unauthorized charges a month after reserving the car, and the quality of the rental vehicle was subpar to say the least. Do yourself a favor and stay away!

This company is the thief and they do everything in their power to steal money from you. Go anywhere but here. They quote you one thing and then sneak in a bunch of charges . They charge over 100 if your half hour past the grace period. Be very careful dealing with these crooks. It was the first and last time I will deal with these people. Worst customer service, worst service, worst experience. Beware of this company.
