Misselling I rented a car from here on Dec 1. I took the car at 3.30 pm . They told me that I can leave back the car at 3.30 pm on next day and put the key in the box as the office closes at 2 pm. They charged me CAD 190 for just one day. Very poor customer service. The person rented me didn’t explain anything properly. He just took my signature without explaining anything. He also specifically mentioned he will charge for only one day but they charged for 2 days. When I called back the manager they are telling me the company policy and everything just to avoid me. I feel very bad and upset. I will never take back the car at Avis rental. Please be careful with this agency. They will loot your money legally by telling the company policy etc. I usually take car from enterprise rent a car and I never had any problem with them. This is the first time I tried Avis and had an horrible experience. They charged me extra and it’s my hard earned money.

DO NOT RENT HERE. Try to pass off previous renters’ damages as yours. Don’t clean vehicles which hides scratches. Makes me question who they get to do simple surface fixes. Twice they tried to pin previous renters damages on me. Shady place.

I had left my phone mount in the rental. The next day I called, left a message and thought I'd be on Amazon that night buying a replacement. It turns out they found the mount and called me. I picked it up a few hours later. The rental was also great. I was in and out in minutes for both pickup and drop off.

Be careful when picking up a car here! We paid our rental car a few months in advance (around 1,000 $) and went to this AVIS station to pick it up. After returning the car at the end of our vacation, AVIS charged my credit card again with the full rental price. We are now in contact with customer service to get our money back and they told us the pickup station messed it up. The employee there barely talked to us and even confirmed upon our request that the car had already been paid for. That didn't prevent him from charging us a second time though. The car itself was fine, although it hadn't been cleaned when we picked it up. We got a free upgrade because there was no car in our booked vehicle group available.

We went to pick up our car on August 7 around 6,30-7 and we experience an amazing costumer service! We definitely are coming back! Location is perfect as we live in the hood. Constructive criticism: when we return the car, as soon as we parked, a young guy came to us (not wearing a company’s tshirt or tag) and request the keys to check KM... at first impression we didn’t want to give the keys as we felt insecure to pass them to a “stranger”, so husband show him km and that was it... once we went to the office we realized he was part of the staff lol .
