Avis Car Rental

If I could give zero stars based on quality of the vehicle originally picked up and customer service I received when returning the car I would. Picking up the vehicle I found that not only were the seats completely stained but the doors had melted candy and mud all over them; unfortunately I missed this in their dark parking garage until I got out on the road. Called customer service about the quality of the vehicle asking for an exchange where I was told that they could give me a 20% off coupon for my next rental, obviously this wasn’t going to rectify the issue so I was told to exchange the vehicle and that I’d receive a $30 credit when I returned the vehicle. Fast forward to today when I returned the car. The gentleman who accepted the car and was the most pleasant employee I’ve had with Avis said that it didn’t show up and to go to the office on the second level. I go upstairs where I’m greeted by Jerrie. I explain to Jerrie what had happened who quickly defended the first vehicles condition by excusing it as something they never do but then tells me that because I prepaid that they couldn’t credit me, I explained that I was told by Corporate that this was to happen and she reiterated that it was a prepay. I asked for my receipt back and the number to corporate where Jerrie informs me that they don’t have a number for corporate and to call the reservation number; so... no one in that entire number has it. I stated that was fine but I was going to stand right there and look it up so we could both chat with them at which she proceeds to yell God bless and unprofessionalally yell to her co-worker the entire situation. Finally Jerrie decides to go ask for the manager who comes out and explains the deal before offering me coupons for the next rental (that’s a hard no from me). So folks, if you want the absolute most disgusting vehicles, rude customer service, and no intent to credit for the lousy vehicles and service then stop here. If you want something other than BS rent from literally anywhere but here.

Easy rental and pick up. Clean car gassed up and ready to go. Friendly staff and easy drop off too. Make sure you have the same card info at pick up that you reserved rental with.

No complaints. Pickup and drop off were quick and easy. Car was clean and the car on offer with Avis/Budget offered the most economical value for money for my given travel dates.

Car was excellent and economical. It had full option features even though I choose compact model. All process were very smooth. Only one concern is, long waiting time at pick up. I spend around 40 mnts for pickup.

Recent Avis car rental experience was great. Car was clean and ready to go. Staff was friendly, fun and helpful. Return of vehicle was easy. Will do again
