We rented a car on May 18th, 2018 for the Victoria Day long weekend. The staff at Hertz gave my boyfriend the worst customer service. At first they said they didn’t have a Toyota Camry for us which was fine. My boyfriend got into the Chevy Malibu and it stunk of CIGARETTES! He immediately alerted one of the attendants. The attendant said it didn’t stink. After a long exchange Hertz offered us the Camry that they said they didn’t have at the start! Returning the car was another ordeal. We were told there was shuttle service after returning the car when we picked it up. It was a different story after the return. Shuttle service was only for the Lexus dealership! That’s very misleading. The overall attitude of this Hertz location is complete garbage. We have rented from many other rental car companies that gave us exceptional customer service. This will be the first and last time we are renting from Hertz.

Original hertz location at Yonge street did not have our reserved vehicle because of multiple clients that got into car accidents before we picked up at noon. That location on Yonge called this location to ensure they had a vehicle. Because of the inconvenience he said he was going to upgrade us to a Lexus at no extra charge. He explained to the person the situation and they said it wouldn’t be a problem. We immediately went there and the guy at desk took over an hour to help us. People were coming in and he was helping them before us. He then told us he didn’t know we were coming after they just called and spoke to him. Bad service and very slow. He also did not give us the Lexus upgrade by instead a Nissan. Never going back here again.

Excellent service, the staff were very courteous and efficient. And the rates were very reasonable. I highly recommend anyone to use Hertz rental.
