Useful location overlooking the main High Street on Russell Sqaure. Quite helpful staff. Prices almost reasonable. Some nice upgrade packages available and nice cars to choose from. Fairly easy to find. Parking can be quite tight around the area.

What a mess. This placed called the police and reported my rental stolen. Sick joke. Got pulled over for 2.5 hours. Won’t return my calls. Filled a claim to get a full refund and Hertz will not even say they were sorry this happened. Stay away from this place.

Terrible experience. They rented my car to someone else. Said it was standard policy since I arrived after two hours of my booking time. No information about this in my rental agreement made via orbitz. "They should have told you" was the best response the attendant could muster. No assistance trying to find another vehicle. Lazy as can be.

Deserves negative stars. Awful. Peopled by one of those people who use the tiny little bit of power they have to make others miserable. Arrogant nitwit who insisted on a translation for our (English language) Hong Kong license and insisted that it was policy introduced this year. When we told him that we had successfully rented 2 cars from the Hertz airport this year, he told us that this was a policy limited to Central London to “curb terrorism”. As if terrorists are limited to picking up cars only within a few miles of their target. When I challenged him on this absurd policy, he replied that he could “easily cancel the reservation if he felt like it”. He should be sacked. The car itself was filthy and looked like it had last been washed when Margaret Thatcher was PM. Only bright spot: the Italian attendant who was very friendly — and apologetic on his posterior wipe colleague’s part.

No issues with my reservation. I was expecting drama, but everything went surprisingly smooth
