Nice people. However, I rented a car from the Central London though and nobody raised the Congestion charge. You would have thought that if renting a car within the zone- to drive it out the car park- it would have/ or it would have been raised that you need to pay the charge. Incredible. It also looks cheap. It isn't.

Terrible company. Still waiting for a refund of an overcharge re their "systems" issues. Each time we speak to them they give a different excuse even telling us we were not charged to our card when it was! They are a complete shambles or deliberately creating obstacles to make it so painful that people get up. Horrendous experience in the branch picking up the car - almost two hours because they said their computer could not open PDFs - which was pushing us to pay for exorbitant excesses. Avoid at all costs!

Update: Truly a traumatising experience. The staff texted us a few days after reading this feedback, which made us feel very very unsafe. He stated 2 main things: 1. He gave us a car upgrade under the promise that we would return the car by 7pm that day (Which we didn't promise and as consumers of car rentals we should be entitled to the full 24 hours) 2. He called us liars By far the most painful experience in hiring a car. There were 2 groups before us and they experienced similar issues as well. The pick up service is first and foremost terribly slow and the process is also very messy, the whole process took over an hour. There was only 1 staff available. Whilst paying for the deposits, no receipts were produced by the card machine. Also the actual car pick up is a 6minute walk from the office, below the holiday Inn hotel. We hired the car in the morning and we were given a car upgrade as they didn't have the automatic car that we originally ordered, but we were also told to bring the car back by that very night (if possible), instead of the full 24 hours. We returned the car later that night and we were greeted at the car park. The first thing he said to us then was "I've been waiting since 7pm". He then demanded a good feedback as he gave us a car upgrade and that his commission depended on it. They also only provide a 100miles/day limit unless you pay extra.

The worst possible experience We arrived to pick up our car this morning. There was a long queue of people being told cars were not available and they would be refunded instead. This was no consolation for us as could not get to where we needed to go with our three month old baby without the car. Hence the reason we’d booked it. They clearly overbook and then just refund people when the cars run out but this is hopeless. Avoid.

Extra charges came up out of nowhere which meant the rental would be more than double what was advertised. They even admitted that the fees and full list of documents they required was not given to us at the time we paid. After an hour arguing with them and the website we bought from (holiday autos) we gave up and asked for our money back. To do that we will have to go through an onerous complaints process with holiday autos. While we were in the store multiple other customers also made complaints. Not a good experience - recommend not to go with them under any circumstances.
