Rented a truck from them and noticed a dent on it while putting gas in... 8 minutes after renting it. Called in and notified the manager of the damage, sent an email with pictures an hour later. Was told everything was fine. When I returned the truck a few days later, they told me I was responsible for the cost of repair. After arguing for an hour, they offered to split the repair cost 50/50 with me. All in all, took me nearly two hours of arguing before they accepted it wasn’t my fault. Apparently pictures time stamped 8 minutes after I signed the rental agreement wasn’t good enough. Wouldn’t rent from discount again.

The absolute worst customer service ever! Called days in advance to ensure my vehicle was ready with every thing I requested and agreed upon (i.e. unlimited kms, GPS, TV screen) All of which they said they had. Upon arrival, they didn't have the vehicle I requested, charging me for kms. The agent was acting lile he was doing me a favor by correcting the mistakes and to top it off another agent was reprimanding another agent in front of customers! It was despicable. Every time I rent from this location, i'm disappointed. It's funny how convenience ( location wise) turns into inconvenience. The head office needs to focus on developing a proper customer service platform.

What a nightmare! Reservation made many days in advance. I called 2 hours prior to my arrival as I started my drive to this location and I was assured that my cargo van was available. When I was 30 minutes away I received a call stating that my van was never actually there and the only similar vehicle available was 20 minutes behind me. They did offer me a 20’ truck that would not fit at either of my destinations. In the end, after much delay they found the correct vehicle that added 60 minutes of driving to my day and offered me no compensation for my inconvenience. Never again Discount!

Reserved a 16' truck a week in advance, received multiple confirmation e-mails, arrived the day of and was told there was no truck. The customer service rep explained that she had known there was no truck for us for 3 hours, didn't call us, and said there was nothing she could do about it. She refused to take any responsibility or problem solve the situation. After 30+ minutes of going in circles with her and her only suggestion being that we drive another hour out of our way, we finally talked to her manager on the phone and he suggested we take the 20' truck they had had on their lot the whole time. When we went to return the truck at a different location later, this branch had lost our paperwork and we were waiting for 30+ minutes before the other branch apologized on their behalf and said they would get this branch to call us to confirm closing the contract. This branch never called.
