Audrey was very professional in delivering the best practices regarding safe handling of all equipment used to transfer and assist in personal care. Ever so supportive of my students while learning to properly lift, transfer, or assist in care. Audrey shows the kindness and professionalism necessary to teach, not only the mechanics of the machines but the reasons why it is done the way it is (ergonomics, etc.). Motion has a real and valid asset in Audrey. 5 STARS

The initial purchase of my chair was done for me through my insurance, and a specialist. 2 months into using my chair, the screws holding the wheel frame together have come undone They were never properly torqued to start. I find it the most upsetting that my personal casefile explains I'm a single mom. If the frame for my wheels fell apart on the street instead of my home, it could have been devastating. Absolutely appalling quality for the prices charged. I also spent the better part of two hours trying to contact anyone in the office, and gave up after leaving messages. If you have alternative companies for getting your equipment I suggest them first.

Lindsay L is more that just a delivery person. He is a valuable asset to this company. He goes above and beyond every time. Great guy, positive , friendly and very helpful. Thank You Lindsay for everything you have done, and continue to do for people. Excellent Customer Service!!!

My power wheelchair had a flat tire while travelling to Niagara Falls from California. I contacted my companies but nobody answered because it happened around 6. Fortunately, we contacted to Motion Specialties and they had after-hour service. I actually worried about the cost. But the service was very fast and the rate was reasonable. Especially, the technician who visited us, Pat, was very kind and provided perfect service. We finally could enjoy the rest of trip.

I WAS IN MOTION IN ST CATHARINES RECENTLY AND PICKED UP ONE OF THE BUSINESS CARDS THAT ASKS " WE VALUE YOUR FEEDBACK. PLEASE TELL US HOW WE DID" UNFORTUNATELY YOU DON'T DO VERY WELL. WE HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH MOTION SINCE IT OPENED IN ST CATHARINES AND PRIOR TO THAT WE DEALT WITH MOTION IN HAMILTON. THE SERVICE IN THE ST CATHARINES STORE HAS GONE DOWNHILL STEADILY IN THE PAST FEW YEARS. WE HAVE PURCHASED NUMEROUS WHEELCHAIRS FROM MARIE METE AND WE HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH LAURIE CROCOCK FOR MEDICAL SUPPLIES ON A MONTHLY BASIS FOR YEARS. IF NOT FOR THESE TWO EMPLOYEES AND THEIR FRIENDLINESS AND HELPFULNESS WE WOULD BE MAKING OUR PURCHASES ELSEWHERE. THE EMPLOYEES IN THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT FOR THE PAST 3-4 YEARS ARE A DIFFERENT STORY. THEY HAVE BEEN IGNORANT, RUDE AND HAVE GREAT LACK OF KNOWLEDGE OF THE PRODUCTS THEY SELL. ONE EXAMPLE OF THIS IS THAT OUR DAUGHTER IS CONFINED TO A WHEELCHAIR AND AS SUCH WE PURCHASE 3-4 SETS OF PNEUMATIC TIRES PER YEAR . EVERY TIME I GO TO MOTION TO GET NEW TIRES THEY HAVE TO BE ORDERED AND I WAIT, SOMETIMES UP TO A WEEK. I REALIZE NO COMPANY WANTS TO CARRY STOCK ANYMORE BUT COME ON THESE TIRES ARE NOT THAT EXPENSIVE. I SUPPOSE I WILL HAVE TO BUY 4 THE NEXT TIME AND KEEP THE EXTRA 2 IN STOCK AT HOME. IN CLOSING I JUST WANT TO REPEAT MYSELF AND ADVISE THAT IF NOT FOR MARIE AND LAURIE WE WOULD BE SHOPPING ELSEWHERE. Nancy and Mike Skeoch St. Catharines
