I rented the 16ft truck for same day return at the Warden and Eglinton location. Amazing staff at the location. We ran 20 min late from our dead line to return and the staff very courteously waited for us. That was very nice of them. Excellent customer service Call center: To rent with discount can be done online or by calling customer service directly. There is no way to contact the location directly until a booking is done. That means if a location is closed, the agents wont be able to book or give you accurate availability. Some agents were also weren't fully clear about the unlimited mileage terms. Overall great service The only rental company that currently offers unlimited mileage. So it was tension free. CONS: 1. no after hours drop off, so time restriction 2. Cant get in touch with location directly via phone until a reservation is confirmed 3. Mandatory Collision / damage insurance for $26 with $1000 deductible

Discount had a car ready for me within minutes, and sent someone to pick me up in under 30 minutes. When I returned the car, they drove me home even though it was past their operating hour. I reserved an economy car as I was driving a fair distance for reasonable gas usage and it was just me in the vehicle. I arrived on time for my reservation and they had already given away all of their economy cars, so I was given an SUV which I absolutely did not want for practicality, it wasn't fair. They kept calling this a "free upgrade", which I kept highlighting that it was not as the cost of gas would be more than double. Even upon returning the vehicle and showing gas receipts, I was not given any kick back or refund for their mistake, costing me an excess of $50 more for gas. At their competition beside them, this was automatically done upon arrival for the inconvenience for a prior rental experience. I also had pre-purchased rental insurance online from an authorized dealer for an economy vehicle. Because they didn't have the car model in stock that I reserved, they told me the $50,000 deductible wasn't enough for the SUV and forced me to buy their overpriced insurance, costing me an excess of $80 plus the $50 I lost on the prepaid insurance. Customer service was very unprofessional when I picked up my vehicle, laughing and delaying me an hour for vehicle pickup, I was almost late for work that morning. The vehicle was filthy, smudges and grease all over the inside of the windows, garbage still in the trays. A supervisor did take off 15% for the state of the vehicle when I returned it, which was about $30. Still in total I overspent $150 through no fault of my own and will never use Discount again for my business.

The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The vehicle was very comfortable and actually quite fuel efficient. Would definitely rent from here again!
