This Regina airport National is the worst location EVER, it must be a franchisee. Bad customer service, no recognition of status, poor car selection. I've always been happy with National car rental else where but I might switch to Budget for all my Regina rentals - brutal!!

DO NOT rent with these guys! They do not care if you are an Executive Elite member, they won't give you a free upgrade, instead they will just give you a LAME LIE that all they have available is a peanut sized Nissan Micra that does not even have power doors and power windows. 3 out of 5 times that I rented with them (good thing my company reserves and pays for it), they always give me a Micra and lies about not having any other cars available but when you go outside their lot is full of cars! Customer service also suck big time, they will tell you that the car does not have any damage but upon checking there are a couple of scratches everywhere! They don't even check the gas if it's full before renting it to the next person!

Do not EVER go with these guys. They opened at “8:00am” but decided to show up at 8:45am. Caused me to miss my meeting because of it. Well done, National. Next time I’ll bring a skateboard.

Update: Decided to give them a shot again and unfortunately had the same experience as last time - desk attendant was very nice, but the team has no recognition of National’s loyalty benefits, attempting to upcharge all possible options and refuse upgrades. Would love for the National corporate team to review their policies and expectations with this franchised-branch. Not worth another try! Edit: A warning to all readers after sifting through the pile of 5-star reviews these guys have - they're nearly all from bots who are created to advertise for auto companies, 11 out of 23 5-star reviews are from outright bogus accounts, with 6 more that are questionable. What a coincidence that every single one of them has bought or rented a vehicle from the same 12 dealerships and outlets all across Canada with 5-star reviews all around! Unfortunately this team is not as strong as other locations like Vancouver and Calgary and does not adhere to the same exemplary level of customer service or provide proper recognition of any Executive Elite benefits. If you are a loyal Emerald Club member, spend your money elsewhere in Regina until they clean their operation up, this team doesn't value your loyalty or business. Really disappointing, this is not the usual experience from National in major cities. Sorry team, but not even paying to pad your Google listing with scores of fake reviews will help to brush your lack of service under the $10/day weather-resistant floormats.

Was accused to smoking and windshield wiper damage (rubber part ?).. gimme a break. As an executive elite for years, i have never been treated so poorly by National anywhere. I rent from all over north america and have been for years. They are rude and give me a car that has no cruise control, no power locks, no power windows, no usb ports and the size of a peanut. Do they get their cars from an auction ? false accusations ? never ever renting here again !
