UPDATE: Chris (Manager) called me shortly after this review was posted and admitted that our service was not handled properly by the company. He said he would be talking with his staff to ensure future matters are handled better. He also offered to refund part of the service price which was greatly appreciated. Thank you Chris for following up. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Some feedback I think may be useful for potential customers. We had a light case of bedbugs in one bedroom. We opted for the full house treatment ($1000 dollars plus $180 inspection for 4 bedrooms plus couch) We followed all their procedures to get rid of the bed bugs including bagging clothes, removing outlet covers, moving furniture off the walls, washing all linens on high heat and getting 2 full chemical treatments. Local pest control then said that no further treatments should be needed. 2 months later they were not eradicated and in fact we're found in the same bed frame as before - same bedroom. When we called Local Pest Control they told us that it would be another $180 inspection. I brought up their 100% satisfaction policy but was told they were likely a different case of bedbugs. :/ We were then told after the inspection that we should dispose of the infested bedframe, mattress and linens. They offered us this removal cost at $1000 dollars and were going to charge us for another treatment round.

I was very happy with local pest control. We had a pigeon problem on our balcony. Pigeons had nested, hatched and were not leaving and the place was a mess with droppings. For what I thought was a very reasonable price they cleaned and disinfected the balcony, got rid of the pigeons in a humane way. I made one phone call on the weekend, they gave me an honest quote and the technician came on Monday as promised. Very happy with their service. I would definitely use them again.

Michael was prompt. Very informative and answered all my questions. Local was the only company that was able to address my issue of carpet bug infestation inside my car. Would recommend and engage in their services again.

Buy some traps, do it yourself, or ask a friend. These guys are a waste of time and money. At least for residential services. Paid $500 they came in - agreed that we likely had rodents - set some traps in easy to reach locations and left. I asked multiple times for the professionals to go into the attic and help as the rodent was above our heads. Eventually after being told the technicians didn’t want to go up into the attic - I went up myself and set traps and block off passage ways. I caught my mouse with no help from Local Pest Control. I paid you for a pest removal service specifically for a mouse in my attic - if you don’t want to go up into the attic - then you should provide a refund and be upfront about your limited residential service. UPDATE: The owner quickly responds to poor reviews - that is a positive - but please speak to your technicians. The ones that were sent our way were not much help compared to other pest services I’ve had in the past. If I could get up there and take care of the problem - your professionals should have been able too.
