And another update: OK, these folks are kind of blowing my mind. They saw this review and not only apologized but have refunded part of our annual fee. I was very clear from the beginning that the techs come to the house have been fantastic, and now I am starting to feel pretty similarly about the people back in the office as well. They seem absolutely hellbent on earning my trust back and I really appreciate that.
UPDATE: Big kudos to the owner for calling me about his recent visit as documented here, acknowledging the issues and apologizing. It takes a big person to handle criticism as honestly and graciously as he did.

Overall positive and will likely renew our annual contract.
Our initial impression was unfavorable because their salesperson confirmed by phone that we could get a single treatment for ants without a contract — I’m certain of that — but when the tech arrived, he would not perform the service unless I signed a year-long contract approaching $700.
We are partway through the contract term. They handled the ants quite well in warm weather. We are still seeing evidence of mice but we live in a wooded area. They discovered some openings that have now been repaired, so we hope we will start seeing improvement.
The *techs* who come to the house are knowledgeable, professional and courteous. I feel comfortable having them in the house when I am there alone, which is significant. One of the owners recently came to my home and I unfortunately found him rather smug and rude. If a customer says, “I am concerned about mouse droppings in the attic,” it’s very strange for Brody’s owner to say, “I’m not,“ and walk away. Very strange.
