One of the things we like about Edmonton South IKEA is their cafeteria upstairs. Good and reasonably healthy food at a fair price. If you are on a real budget, get the hot dog and cones in the main floor deli. Absolutely giveaway inexpensive. Always plenty of parking. Also a great place to "get in those steps" on a day of poor weather. This all in addition to their huge variety of household goods.

I am pretty sure I live here at this point. I have basically my whole house from IKEA. Lots of great quality for an affordable price. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the check out system is a breeze, the online ordering system makes life easy when you can't get there. I love the small land too, and so do the kids

We've only been for breakfast twice since they switched from the $1 breakfast and was not impressed either time. Since then the lunch & dinner options have also gone up in price and down in quality. A "quick meal before you shop" is becoming less & less. We had the meatballs w/ mashed potatoes on our last visit and I've tasted better in Nursing Homes - so I think that we are now done with the cafeteria all together. Great for my pocket book, as I was always spending money on stuff in the warehouse when we'd go for a cheap breakfast/meal - now that we do not frequent the cafeteria as much, I don't spend money on spontaneous purchases....so I guess I should be saying Thanks IKEA?!

Ikea makes great, stylish products. What they completely lack in is customer support! Their kitchen install contractor failed to show up for a 4 Hour appointment that we paid $250 for! It's been three days of calling their 1800 # which lands you at a call center in Ontario which you will easily spend 1 1/2 hours on hold being redirected multiple times trying to get anyone to help you and rectify anything. This is my 3rd attempt at even trying to learn what was the reason for the NO SHOW. Their lack of customer service is shocking. Buyer Beware. Their support for anything after you have paid is almost non existent. You enter into an abyss of waiting on hold. I am so disappointed, and felt this review could potentially save other people the headache of any after purchase support. Be Aware!

IKEA is IKEA. If you have seen one, you have seen them all. Edmonton IKEA is always clean, the cafe is well stocked and well staffed. As per IKEA the staff are always around for assistance without making you feel pressured or like you are being sold to which is great. Lots of parking as well. I enjoy the click and collect option for IKEA and can honestly say that I have never had a problem with my order which is great! The only reason for not giving a five star review is because of the layout. You literally are forced to go through the entire displays to get anywhere in the store. It would be nice if they would make shortcuts.
