Cheap materials, and that's about it. Finding anything you need is based more on luck, but that's half the fun of visiting. Guaranteed to find SOMETHING for an upcoming project, but you won't always find the the ONE THING you are looking for at that moment. But hey, that's why everything is so affordable. If you want to pay for marketing and merchandisers, head over to the Big Box stores.

Best place to buy home improvement supplies if you're on a budget. They also have some decent previously owned furnishings and cabinets.

Used furniture is cleaned and properly mended before selling... It's a good place for people to buy used furniture...

For what they sell, items are often very overpriced. Many items are cheaper or better off purchased brand-new. Still, can often find great deals and it helps recycle materials.

This easily the biggest and best ReStore location that I have visited. (I've shopped at several across Canada.) Great selection of high quality and unusual items when I checked it out. Note: This location does not accept credit cards without a chip. Could not use my prepaid MasterCard. I chose not to argue with them, but I'm fairly certain that it violates their Merchants Agreement with the credit card payment processor.
