No cashiers during Black Friday (week) sale prices fake inflated and no staff ever want to help. Better chances finding a helpful soul in the Arctic.

The automotive shop is an absolute joke. Expect to leave broke or dissatisfied. Every visit I’m told there’s something wrong with my vehicle when in fact there isn’t. Couldn’t even get a screw taken out of my tire without being told my tire isn’t repairable and I’ll need to buy a whole new set or else the car is deemed “unsafe” when in fact the screw wasn’t near the sidewall nor was driven on when flat, the tire was perfectly fine. Just a typical scabby shop trying to rip people off, leaving a bad taste in people’s mouths when considering to shop at a Canadian Tire. Leave this shop as a last resort for anything auto related. You will find significantly better quality with better prices and much better customer service elsewhere, guaranteed.

Staff are not friendly. Asked for help from a staff member and got given attitude. Also heard another staff member being rude to fellow co worker. Used to be a great place to shop.

The shelves are always well stocked but the service here is appalling. The service desk for automotives never has anyone nearby and I have had to wait for roughly 15 minutes for help on three separate occasions after an employee had been paged to the desk. The customer washrooms are also horrid and dirty. If you stay away from automotives and stick to the other sections of the store you will have much better luck.

I shopped at the Sherwood Park location and spoke to Mitch in the automotive section. This guy knew what he was talking about and should be promoted. His customer service skills will bring me back to that location. This guy needs a raise and a promotion. You rarely see this from Canadian tire associates. Good job Mitch.
