Dining Room Oak 1997 Oak Table Re-finish

Steve and Marlene were a pleasure to deal with every step of the way. Steve’s experience in turning a old and tired orange oak table into a modern look allowed us to keep the table in which many fond family dining experiences took place over the last 25 plus years. I highly recommend their services!! Blair

After a Google search with so many amazing reviews I took an 85 year old chest to have it refinished. I had a lot of trust and faith but not a ton of hope because of its shape. This chest was severely beat up and in pieces and had chewed out corners. It had seen it all…been in a fire and then endured a rough move and looked like it should be tossed! To see my grandmas chest come back looking the way it did made me cry. It was 100 times better than any expectations I had. I couldn’t recommend this business more! The prices are affordable and I don’t think anyone could even be close to not completely satisfied with the results. The finished results really are above and beyond my expectations. I think the excellent reviews speak for themselves. Thank you so much for making me able to have my most prized possession be whole and beautiful again!!

Steve Wheeler of Harvest Moon Refinishing is an absolute master at his craft. I recently entrusted him with the restoration of an old Leslie speaker, which bore the scars of years on the road with a rock band. The transformation Steve achieved was nothing short of remarkable. Not only did he skillfully refinish the speaker's exterior, but he also meticulously removed and restored its signature trademark, preserving its original charm (See Photos). I provided Steve with the music stand from my Hammond Organ to ensure a perfect match in stain. Additionally, I brought in the organ bench previously refinished by another company, only to have Steve express dismay at the subpar job they had done. Without hesitation, he took it upon himself to refinish the bench to his exacting standards. Thrilled with the results, I further entrusted Steve with an antique side table for refinishing. Despite the reluctance of other furniture refinishers to take on my projects, Steve embraced the challenge. Unlike the frustrating experience I had with another shop that offered a year-long wait time, Steve's turnaround time was refreshingly prompt. I cannot recommend Harvest Moon Refinishing highly enough. Steve's exceptional workmanship and unwavering attention to detail sets him apart in his field. If you're in need of refinishing services, look no further than Steve Wheeler and his team.

I took in a Head Board and Dressing table that has been in the Family for over 80 years. It was in a terrible state and did not have the heart to get rid of it. It had been my Moms Aunt's and my Mom used it for many years. My wife and I got it over 25 years ago and it was perfect for what we wanted. I came across Steve and Marlene by Accident and eventually took it in when we started renovations at home. Steve continually kept me informed even though it took a while. When I got it home it was a jaw dropper. It came out so beautifully and just just looks so great. My Daughter now 30 has claimed it for the future and thanks to Marlen and Steve it will out last all of us. Contact Steve or Marlen for my number and I will definitely recommend them. I am now on the look out for other great stuff for restoration and my Dining Room Table and Chairs are next. Good things take a while.

My husband surprised me with a refinishing of my grandmother’s table which is special to me. They did a fabulous job taking it from an oak colour to white and we got the seats reupholstered to blue for a pop of colour. They were efficient, meticulous and communicated frequently with my husband throughout the process. It’s clear they care about craftsmanship and we were delighted to know they’ve been employing a Ukrainian newcomer. Thank you for giving my special kitchen table a new life that we can enjoy for years to come.
