After spending 4 months and countless emails back and forth with Rick, the owner of Furniture First, my husband and I finally decided to purchase a gorgeous mahogany stained maple bedroom set. I can honestly say that Rick has the patience of a saint for diligently answering my myriad of questions. He was extremely accommodating towards all of our requests for customizing our order. When we ran into a few issues with the manufacturer, Rick himself, took full responsibility to correct the problem, going above and beyond any retailer I have ever encountered in the past. He even made a couple of house calls to make sure we were 100% satisfied! His business carries an eclectic assortment of both contemporary and rustic furniture and accents and although there is a vast amount of manufacturers he can order from, you still can’t help but sense a small town country atmosphere when you walk through the door. Rick and his sister Gail are so down to earth and truly understand the importance of exceptional customer service. I would consider myself a fairly demanding customer with high expectations but if I am happy with the service and product, I will let that person know. In Rick’s case, the service was so exceptional that I had to write this review and share it with everyone. On a side note, the price for my particular bedroom set at Furniture First was less than all of the other competitor’s stores in Edmonton who carried the same brand.

We have ordered a few times from Furniture First, Rick has helped us greatly as well as Gwen. I ordered a table with custom stain, it turned out beautiful. I paid a bit more to do this, but worth the money. Prices are spot on with what you see in Edmonton and sometimes better. I am for supporting local businesses and this one is amazing.

The staff here is amazing! Rick was so kind and helpful during the whole process. He made purchasing our first couches a breeze. We had them custom made and we couldn't be happier. I highly recommend Rick and his business to anyone looking to have something a little more unique :)

Extremely nice people and very helpful when picking out how the options for a dining room table. Not cheap but top quality. Most of it will last a lifetime.

Had a chance to meet Rick at his store the other day. One of the most genuine and kind people in the business. Their show room is unique and constantly changing. Refreshing to see a store that doesn't just offer run of the mill furniture but also has custom and hard to find pieces.
