Apparently they're pretty cool for supplying people with affordable furniture, and I personally know people who've made use of their services during hard times - But I offered to donate something to them and had a bizarre and disruptive experience. They had no time to pick it up when I called so they took my info to call back - I got it picked up by someone else the next day. Upon recieving a call back I wasn't in the room to pick up and didn't return their call as I no longer had the item for them. They left a message about a specific day to come and pick it up, called at least two more times wherein I decided not to answer during my busy hours and figured they'd just let it be without any confirmation. They proceeded to show up at my door on the day that I never confirmed, banging loudly on my door and front window to get my attention. I'm sure they were upset that they traveled for nothing but every business in the world doesn't go through with stuff like that without making sure it's going to be received properly and getting first hand confirmation from the other party.

Please stop donating to this org. I went there and was shy 17$ on a item. Explained my medical reason for needing it. Even offered to donate a item worth more then the item I wanted to purchase. Told no. Made me feel like a loser for asking. I will never go to this store again. They charge way to much for donated items. Charity should start at home. They to me seem to be more worried about their dollar then anything else.

Why buy new when you can find it used? Always something cool there.
