If I could grade lower than 1 star I most certainly would. I went in to pick up a parcel at this store. I arrived at 5:15pm knowing that they close at 5:30. When I walked into the store there was 2 women at the counter counting out the till as it had already been rang off for the day. I commented that they need not worry, I was only here to pick up a parcel. After giving my name the woman helping me came back with a large box. I asked if there was a second one as I had talked to the shipper yesterday and they said a second parcel had come in also. She replied that she didn't see one. I went to get my phone so I could check my emails for the shipment number. Obviously this greatly annoyed this person who was 'helping' me. I joked about how this 'buying on line was supposed to be easy' as I tried to scan my emails. The worker/counter person(not sure what to call her at this time) asked for my DL "so I can carry on", I looked at her in an attempt to make eye contact and she was staring angrily at my purse, I was not sure at this point what I had done to make her so angry. I got out my DL and gave it to her and said that if she needed to do something while I looked for the email I didn't have an issue with that. She proceeded to fill in a form then put the form in front of me and said I needed to sign it. I said I would as soon as I finished looking through my emails for the other tracking number. My parcel was promptly and aggressively taken out from under my hands and placed on another counter along with the signing sheet! Her comment was something like 'well this can wait here, I'm done'. !! I was shocked, insulted and felt totally bullied. I said 'wth?, seriously??!' This woman was on her way, storming- seriously- from behind the counter to the back area of the store. I said, fine give me the parcel and I'll sign now then. She said something about having to finish her job. That was it. I was seriously angry! I have never felt so insulted and I don't recall ever feeling like I was being bullied into signing for a freaking parcel! I said "I get it, that's fine, but she really didn't have to be such a f-ing b*tch about it!!"... I'm sorry if I came into your store too close to close and you still had tasks to finish, I'm sorry if you had a bad day...I'm sorry if your boss was being mean to you and won't pay you for a minute of time past 5:30....but I'm a customer, you know the people who make it so you have a job!? And frankly I don't give a rats butt what kind of day you've had or if you don't like your job. I deserve to be treated with respect and kindness and if you don't have that, then at least some common freakin courtesy!! I've been in this store on multiple occasions and I can honestly say that I have never received anything that is remotely like good customer service, ever. I was told by one of the other women working that I would no longer be able to receive parcels at this location. Really? So my cursing offended you? Good, that means I was reflecting the insulting treatment I was receiving and I'm glad I offended you! I'm shocked that the treatment I got was obviously 'ok' by their standards. I don't think anyone should have to get parcels from here...or anything else for that matter. I will make sure to tell everyone I know, and those I haven't met yet, to not go to this store. Why would anyone when there is another office supply store in town? Next complaint letter is going to Canada Post to see if I can happily comply with being banned from the store, then one to Amazon.ca to see if I can remove them from my delivery location...then back to work in the hospitality industry...where I consistently give great customer service!!!
