Very disappointed with David. If I could give zero stars I would. I sent him a follow up email from the Vancouver home show where he said he could repair my wife's parent's 1960s teak table from Denmark. He offered to come see it in storage in Nanaimo and take it away. He did not return my email so I called and left a message. He did not return my call, so I called again. I talked to him and he said he would let me know. He did not. I called again and left another message where he finally returned my email six days later saying to send pictures...of something in storage in Nanaimo when we live in Vancouver. I hope he shows better customer service to those people buying his furniture.

We love our new sideboard/buffet and dining chairs! Great service and well priced for such solid beautiful teak furnishings.

I have to say I’m perplexed by the amount of positive reviews posted here. I sat in a teak folding chair (that friends of mine purchased from The Teak Tree) and a slat on the darn thing broke; I weigh 169 lbs. So, I contacted David, who wrote, “Wood has many gains and looks to be that slat had a weak spot.”. The Teak Tree does not stand behind its products, so at full cost ($260, and tax), plus $60 shipping, I ordered a replacement (folding) chair at the beginning of June, 2018 to be shipped to Vancouver. It was in stock. A week later when I still hadn’t received an invoice or tracking number for the package, I called David who informed me he would personally be delivering the chair instead, the following week. I figured it might have taken the same amount of time to ship, so I let that go. Six (6) weeks later, that chair still had not arrived in Vancouver. I called David again. When I asked why he hadn’t just shipped it, he informed me that I would have had to pay an additional $20 for a box. Seriously???? Six weeks ago I paid $60 for shipping which he personally quoted me. There was absolutely no mention of additional charges for packaging. Anyhow, since when is packaging an extra charge when you inquire about shipping costs? Then, as if he were doing me a great service, he actually had the audacity to tell me that if he didn’t get the chair delivered the following week, he would not charge me the additional $20 to put this chair into a box. The chair finally arrived in Vancouver, (in a box) on July 30th, more than 7 weeks after I ordered it. It’s beyond me how this company manages to stay in business.

We recently bought a stunning four poster bed from Teak Tree. It is beautifully designed and made. David was very helpful with delivery and installation included in the price. We can highly recommend Teak Tree to anyone looking for beautiful and unique furniture.

Over 6 months ago I refurnished my patio with teak furniture from The Teak Tree. Even after a lot of rain and little care on my end the furniture looks great and doesn't look weathered at all. Unfortunately I can not say the same about my NON teak furniture that I forgot to put away when the weather got bad. Teak is hands down a superior product and looks fantastic. Dave, thanks so much for helping my patio be an amazing space to welcome my friends and family!
