Not happy!! Very poor customer service. Very poor communication. The first purchase I had with Fay was fine. The second order, she sent sub standard silverware but did offer to replace. Communication is horrible. Always an excuse. The third order I placed a whole set of silverware was missing even though it was paid for. That was August 30, 2018. It is now October 10. Fay originally responded that they would have to “find” what they had done with my silverware, but now they refuse to answer my phone calls and emails. They have my money and I do not have the silverware purchased. I’m not sure if this should be called fraud? Theft? Certainly horrible business practice.

Always a treat to visit here, as everything is well organized, priced and no sales pressure. One of the nicest antiques store I have ever been in.

Asked (as directed by labels on every case) to see some examples of zippos and Swiss knives. None of them were what I was looking for (good quality, still useable with enough blades) but I was interested in some other relics for decoration/personal wear as well. Shop owner was standoffish about showing me things in the beginning, made me feel weird for asking for help, then got mad when I looked at things myself and finally got aggressive that I hadn't bought anything yet. Was in the shop happily looking around for about 15 minutes. Part of a shop managers' job is identifying customer needs... Confusing, rude, very bad experience. He wasn't willing to chat or help me find what I needed. During the whole debacle I was polite and then left without buying anything, not because I hadn't found something but because of that kind of appalling behaviour. Hope he can glean something from that experience because I really did love that beautiful 1930s chain clutch! Too bad I have the perfect place on my wall... missed opportunity for both of us. Good luck to him and his family.
