I normally purchase from the urban barn in Edmonton but when visiting my sister go to the outlet. On my initial visit Ling(I believe this was her name) and the Mgr Terrance (or Laurence) apologies for the names, were a great help. Cheerful and more than willing to assist me and my sister in any way possible. They said we could pick up some of the items the next day and offered to wrap them in plastic. When we arrived Saturday July 28,about 5 we approached the desk and a woman behind the counter, medium height, European with a ponytail-late 30s early 40s asked if she could assist us. Once we stated our reason for being there her whole demeanor changed. Asked for the receipt and when I at first said I didn't have it, basically continued doing some sort of work without speaking to us. When I found the bill, she printed out a pick up slip for one item. When questioned she said the other form would follow. It never did. She got our items but during the entire interaction there was no smile, no feeling whatsoever of being a valued client. I purchase from urban barn on a regular basis for my staging supply company and promote the brand when clients ask about the product. I am certain that if I was treated this way at my local store that wouldn't be the case.

What a nice shopping experience. The salesman (wish I had got his name) was more than helpful and even helped me out to the car. It is a treat to get service at a retail outlet in CANADA!
