I’ve gone to 2 other JYSKS in the area and after my experience with them, I’d suggest skipping this location. While both the King Edward Street and the Lougheed Hwy locations chatted with me happily about my wedding needs and went out of their way to get us set up with whatever patio chairs they could rustle up - this store point blank said no to selling what they had on hand (and both staff members I spoke to said it was the manager’s discretion to insist I order and wait 2 weeks). Sometimes having a bit of compassion and flexibility goes a long way in achieving return customers. JYSK as a whole has impressed me to date, but I’ll not be coming back to this specific one in the future.

I recently came here to get a few items with my family and both my mother and i found what we wanted and on sale. We lined up and waited about 10 minutes while the cashier was waiting for a price check with another customer and it seemed the staff was ignoring her and not doing the price check until another customer left and announced there is 4 staff doing nothing they should be helping her. Than someone came and the line moved on, my mother's purchase was on sale but they said it's not because someone didn't remove the old sale signs but she did get the sale price, mine was on sale also but coming up almost double the price i told them and they checked but someone put the wrong items on sale so it wasn't on sale but it's advertised as on sale so i did get the sale price but that makes it a final sale and that's fine i don't plan on returning them. But it seems that they label their sales all wrong and don't keep up with removing sale signs. The staff is polite and nice but the disorganization is why i will not return i usually go to the Surrey store and will stick with that one now. Plus my mother's item was missing all the hardware needed to put it together now i get to go search for these screws and washers at home depot, and i noticed lack of instructions with everything i prefer words not pictures and all it was with the larger item was a picture of what to do and the other one had no instructions or even predrilled holes, so that means i get to measure and mark it all myself something i dont want to do or i could just make my own for cheaper with better quality parts. That isn't this stores fault though.

Brian was very very very helpful! Awesome customer service and I recommend you go to this store. We had a problem with Kamloops branch and how they responded on the situation but Brian handled it very well. He was even apologetic for how we treated by the other store!!! Thank you!

Such bad customer service and did not honour posted prices. I was in the store to look at outdoor carpet. Asked a clerk for help she told me she was helping someone else. Did not offer to help when she was finished, so I asked someone else for help. The other clerk was also helping a older couple who had questions about the outdoor area rugs as well. The out door area rugs were confusing. I wanted to know about sizes. They had picked out one to buy but when they got to the cashier were informed it was not $31.00 it was $103.00 (can't remember exact amount) yet the sign as clear the lower price. I was about to make the same purchase decision. I also wanted the larger size rug and was informed they only had one size even though the sign stated different sizes. I was informed by the clerk that the signage was wrong and the price was the higher price. I explained that two customer do not see it that way and the signage was bad. I was mad that the store was clearly miss representing the price and inventory. She explained that is use to w correct but they had sold the other size and they had moved the carpets so now it as I incorrect. She then ripped the signage of all of the rugs and said they signage is now correct. I was anoyed because this clerk really does not get that we as customers we buy products that pay her wages. I did pick up one of the less expensive rugs and headed to the check outs. They original clerk that I asked for help was at the check out with another older couple. Again I was shocked at the treatment of this other customer. Older lady was trying to explain her husband was at the back door with a return. The clerk told her to tell him to ring the bell. The older lady said just open the back door you will see him. The sales clerk had a radio and radioed someone in the back about the return. No one was willing to open the back door unless he rang the bell. The clerk told her to phone or text him the lady said we don't have a phone so the clerk offer the store phone the lady said again we don't have a phone. They were then suggesting she walk around the stone to ring the bell. It was at that point I just left I could not stand this staff. I was in to the JYSK in Pitt Meadows on Tuesday July 4, 2018 in the late afternoon. If I was a store owner all staff that was working that day deserve to be fired. They are hurting your business they at effecting your sales. The next day I went to the JYSK location in Coquitlam and spent almost $400.00 the services was so different. I will never return to the Pitt Meados location and am suggesting to other it is worth the drive to Coquitlam if you want to be respects as a customer.
