I love this store. Every time I enter it I feel inspired to live the best life I can. Carrie and her Staff go out of their way to make everyone that enters their store feel important and capable. They help turn ugly pieces of furniture into works of art. I also love how their team is making a difference in our community. A couple weeks ago I had the privilege of participating in a fundraiser that The Passionate home did for Habit for Humanity, it was an amazing experience. Carrie and her team work to make everyone that comes thru their door feel special, and then they go out into the community to bring love and hope to those who may never come into the business. Truly this is a business worth being proud of in Langley! SHOP LOCAL!!!!

Was at The Passionate Home with my wife and cant stop going on about this place! Truly! The staff were incredibly helpful and the owner, Carrie, even offered up tips on how we could refinish some of our own rustic furniture that we had instead of just getting rid of it. They have a plethora of pieces ranging from vintage/rustic bed frames and tables to old ornate decorative pieces that can be so hard to come by. I'm also a painter by trade and love using the Annie Sloan chalk paint The Passionate Home sells (it's one of the only places I've seen that carries it as well) as it goes great on all types of vintage furniture as well as some even fabrics (and with a proper wax application from the same line it makes old upholstered chairs look like and feel like they've been reupholstered with leather. Truly a incredible product!) Thank you Carrie and your whole team for being so helpful! We'll be back lots for sure.

Be aware: This store RACIALLY PROFILES their customers! If you are a person of colour, there is a good chance you will be asked to place anything you are holding at the front for consideration...I had a close friend of mine come in today to do some shopping. This is a woman who is honest, loving and loves her life with compassion and integrity. This woman is also black. She was repeatedly followed around and pushed to hold her items in the front, as they stated it’s their policy. Meanwhile, the white shoppers were free to shop as they please! I guess the policy doesn’t apply to everyone does it?! If you’re white, you’re all good? This type of behavior by ignorant white people breaks my heart because it perpetuates the real experiences that people of color experience every day! Please educate yourselves and come face to face with the privilege you have! Needless to say, you won’t see me supporting this business.
