I had cushions done here many years ago and they did a great job that gave me a few more years with my favourite chairs. Fast forward to now and another couch I thought could use a little lift so I went in to get a quote. Greeted by a friendly dog and man. He took a good look at the cushion in question and let me know they still had some life in them and it wasn't time yet to replace/fix them. So, although he didn't do any work for me this time I very much appreciated his honesty and has saved me several hundreds of dollars. Thanks! I'll be back when it's time.

I just had six pieces of furniture reupholstered at Port Moody Interiors. Not only are Carly and her dad Jim, so friendly and helpful but their craftmanship is absolutely STELLAR! My "new" living room could easily be featured in a Design magazine. I am so happy I opted to "reupholster" and I am equally glad that I found this local business to tackle the job. If you are looking for quality, attention to detail and affordable pricing...you absolutely should visit Port Moody Interiors!

Jim was amazing! He not only recovered our chairs beautifully but he is not high pressure, nor is he expensive. He's honest and very good at what he does. We'd recommend Jim.

Reupholstering with Port Moody Interiors is like a trip back in time to when the people providing a service actually cared about, not just how the project is completed, but assuring you are comfortable and confident during the entire process. Typically recovering furniture is search through piles of books, point to a fabric, get a price and then wait and hope they do something close to what you want. When I went to Port Moody Interiors it was nothing like that. First, I met Jim. Jim isn't pushy, there are no snap decisions expected, more than once he asked if we were sure of the direction we were heading and told us not to rush, he offered his insight and expertise...he said himself a few times "hey this is a big decision". He was in no way dismissive, we started off with a small job and ended up with a much bigger job and his interest and attention was keen when the job was modest and remained that way as the job grew. Moreover Jim never came off as arrogant, I can't imagine how many times Jim had to explain the process, or some aspect of it, but he did in his friendly but straight-talk way - some parts of the process more than a few times. Jim was cool during the week, or more, back and forth. He hung in there with us. He found out, exactly, what needed to be done, he asked for pictures of items I couldn't bring in, he helped my wife and I when we needed to scour the samples and when we required time to figure things out, the way only couples trying to decide on how to restore some of their favorite pieces figure things out, he headed over to the work bench always at the ready to answer any questions - there were many and he answered them all. When we got stuck he even directed us to one of the top upholstery manufacture's show room so we could chose from more fabric options than any upholsterer could possibly offer. What ever it took to help us get our part of process done completely and comfortably Jim was ready to help out. Now it was up to Jim. Jim kept in contact as the work proceeded. In the end, the work was fantastic, (the trim and little extras added the perfect touch to an expert job), the price was more than fair, and Jim delivered on time and precisely as promised. If you have a favorite piece of furniture that needs a makeover - head over to Port Moody Interiors and have a chat with Jim. I believe that if you go with Jim your furniture along with your faith in quality and service will certainly be wonderfully restored at Port Moody Interiors..
