I just had a very close friend go there and her experience was probably one of the worst shopping experiences she’s encountered , not only was the lady rude and made racists comments ,but was totally unprofessional, I know my platinum card and my cash will not see the light of day in this store ever ,thanks to my friend for sharing , just because someone’s skin isn’t the colour of yours doesn’t mean they can’t afford to be in your shop , one would thing a store owner would welcome all shoppers, not this lady .... so to her I say you reap what you sew ,and with an attitude like that I hope business is slow to the point of failure .... some people just don’t know how to be polite .its simple just be nice .... no need for this kind of experience at all .....however the shop next door was a great experience will go there again without a doubt .shout out to vintage vault great customer service and a very friendly atmosphere....

I went to vintage vault antiques and purchased an item for my child for christmas, and the workers at the store told me to check out butlers antiques next door as they have lots of cool things. As soon as I walked into butlers antiques I was instantly judged, and criticized, and followed by the lady whom owns it( at least I think shes the owner ?). She made the experience very uncomfortable, I couldn't even take a look around she made me that uncomfortable, she made prejudice remarks, asked me if I was going to buy something, and I told her if i cant look around freely how am i able to make a decision on what to buy. The woman didnt even want me there, made it so uncomfortable I had to leave. I work for the government of Canada, and I was judged instantly based off my skin color and "i normally charge a door fee so it leaves room for the people who can afford to buy things" another one of her remarks. I can afford to buy things just fine, I'm not a criminal nor am I a theif in any shape or form. I will never go back to this store based off this first experience. She was rude, prejudiced, judgemental and just nasty. You lady need to take a customer service course on how to treat people. By the way, I'm not native either.. I'd much rather go spend my hard earned money that I get working from the government at vintage antiques next door to your business because at least they are polite, friendly and have couth.
