I've been using several of the beautiful essential oils from Durga Interiors for years. I live in the interior of BC and would always make a point of stocking up whenever I was in Vancouver. Since the pandemic, I've been ordering online and I have to say, I'm so impressed with the prompt and free shipping and service. You won't believe the quality of these oils and you won't find anything like them anywhere.

The path towards truly connecting with a Hindu deity is not money or ritual without devotion, it is sincerity and love for that deity. This is something which is not being reflected in the shop. A gangster with a sincere heart can steal a rose and offer it to Kali, and she may even give him a boon. A corrupt man with a toxic heart with money can offer gold and silk to the same deity and he may receive nothing or even a curse because he lacked devotion or pure love for her, and his intent was selfish. There is such richness in ancient Hindu and Indian mysticism and this shop does not reflect those values. It is not what you offer to the deity or how much money you spend it is how you offer it , because the deity can read your heart. The whole point of worship is to transcend the Ego. You can not reach God with expense offerings, only through devotion .Hinduism is traditionally not based on money, it is based on LOVE. I do wish the owner well and that o

Truly a genuine experience everytime I visit this shop. From the authentic furniture, to the traditional oils , or simply chatting with Ray about what he has brought back from his recent travels I always look forward to my next visit at Durga Interiors. Thanks Ray.

Durga is a Vancouver gem! It's like a museum where you can buy parts of the collection. Lovely painted cabinets of old teak, sacred objects from Kashmir and other parts of the sub-continent. Every time I go in to this wonderful store Ray has unexpected and fresh old objects that fascinate and delight. Worth a special trip, Free parking in front. Patrick, Vancouver
