My experience was exceptionally good. They tackled an extremely difficult job of restoring a 100-year-old sofa/2 armchairs set to perfect condition. The effort and skill that went into matching all the small stripes in the material (everywhere) was excellent. The wait & price was commiserate with that amount of effort, but the end result is delightful. I was never treated with anything except politeness. The other reviewers must have been dealing with a different set of people.

Owner quoted me $40-$90 depending on fabric for upholstering slip seats (10 pieces). Fair. So he's looking at ~$30 each for labour, which is fair. I came in an grabbed the leather samples, and returned them with a selection. A week later, I came in with the plywood pieces to be upholstered and he told me it would be $140 each. $110/for 3 square feet of leather. I left. The place is a dump, also. Clean it up. Subsequent to this I went to Port Moody Interiors who are doing the seat cushions with the exact same leather for $80/each.

Had an old chair that needed recovering. We picked it up today. It looked amazing...just like a brand new chair. I had a good choice of fabric to choose from and I chose well. The work was well done. Good stitching, new cushions. It did cost the same as a brand new chair, but I didn't want to part with the chair as it was an older, sturdy frame...it's lasted forever and I think it will last forever more. I am extremely happy also with the service. We had 2 deaths in the family and we were both forced to deal with the sale and emptying and dealing with the contents of a large town home, as well as all the paperwork involved in being executrix, as well as having to put in overtime at work and dealing with grief. Kisten and Steve couldn't have been kinder or more understanding and stored the chair for us for a long time while we dealt with all of our issues. When we didn't have enough bunjie cords they helped secure it really well to our truck bed with strips of fabric. They helped us load it on the truck. A 5 star experience! Thank-you! Susan and Terry.
