Like the Grant Park store for my auto tune ups and repair. My car is older now and they are knowledgeable and helpful. As a senior with a limited budget they work with me to keep the cost as reasonable as they can and they are thoughtful. Good staff at this location!

All the staff I encountered were really helpful and spent some time looking for an item on their online network. Could not have asked for better service. Always a good price for anything I have purchased from this franchise over the past 30 years.

Note: This review will be updated once (hopefully) the situation is resolved. My boyfriend and I are new to Winnipeg and have been shopping around for a while on remote starters and installation. We ended up choosing Canadian Tire because there was a unit on sale and there were many solid reviews online. We also (wrongfully) assumed that paying a higher installation price at a reputable place would avoid the exact situation that happened. They ask you to pay upfront for the installation and then they book an appointment with Adam, an out of town mechanic who comes in on request to do the work. I paid over $500 dollars on October 12 and they couldn't get a hold of Adam so the gentleman assured me he would call later to set up an appointment. Sure enough, appointment was set for 6:00 on October 29. On Oct.29 I called in the morning to confirm the appointment and ask if it was okay if my boyfriend came in with the car instead of me, they assured me it would be no problem. My boyfriend arrives at 6pm and they say Adam isn't in yet, but we can get things started for when he arrives. My boyfriend asked for them to call him when Adam arrived so he knew how much more time he had to kill. at 7pm, the agent calls my boyfriend and tells him Adam isn't coming in. They took 1 hour to call to let him know the appointment doesn't exist. Frustrated, he leaves with our car and the remote starter unit in the box. They called me the next day after me leaving them a message to "book a new time" as if there were no issue. When asking the individual on the phone what happened the day prior, he struggled to explain where there was a mishap. I asked multiple times to confirm the time of appointment and he assured me that this would not happen again, despite making the appointment exactly as he had the first time. We have been extremely dissatisfied with the service thus far. We have been out of $500 for 2 weeks now with nothing to show for it. I'll update this review next week when the new appointment is. For now, save your money and find a place on kijiji. Update: They did the installation on the second appointment, it ended up taking 3.5 hours. If I could redo this whole thing I would have shopped around more and not gone to this location.

I have been a regular customer for Canadian tire but never got disappointment unlike day before yesterday . the customer representative and the manger is very rude no manners no concerns nothing. When you return anything in return you get verifications and details as though you did some crime worst experience till date.

This Store has priced an item incorrectly, sign above the item stated 24.99 when I got to the till the price came up as 99.25. I stated no that it had a sale ticket on it for 24.95 that I wanted to speak to a manager because did not think it was right that I pay 99.25 for something that marked as 99.25. The cashier said the manager would not be in for 15 minutes for that department, I said that was fine I am sure I could speak to the store manager. Instead the clerk tried to call another employee that worked in the section to the front. I asked if she was a manager the cashier said no, I said well she will not be able to help me then. The Cashier then flags someone else down to come speak to me this man does not introduce himself and is covered in dog fur. I ask are you a manager he says he is the customer service manager. I tell him that the item was mislabeled and would like it for the price stated on the sale tag. He gets very defensive and almost starts shouting at me stating that was not reasonable and he can’t sell something below cost, I have been calm through this whole interaction and state that it was not me who mislabeled the merchandise and was jusitfied in thinking that the item was on sale even though the product numbers don’t match because the size is the same on the sale item and the name and brand are also the same. I don’t know how to match a product number to a sign and would not think to do that. I asked the manager what he could do to rectify the situation. He says he is not giving it to me for the price, I ask him what he can do. He says not that. I say I understand but I want the situation recitified since it was there error. He storms over to the customer service desk taking my phone I had on the counter with him slams on the keyboard a bit then tells me he can give it to me for the last sale price of 29.99 I say that’s fine, pay and leave the store. I was intimidated and belittled by this man, for a manager of customer service this is poor, this is the example this store has to follow, very very sad. Kept calling me Ma’am I don’t appreciate being called ma’am. Will not go back to this Canadian tire.
