Not impressed with DeFehr. After purchasing the King sized Pine Ridge bedroom set we noticed many small dents in many places on the furniture. The headboard was by far the worst and we couldn't accept it. After going to the place we purchased it from and explaining why we wouldn't accept it they tried to tell us it was called "antiquing." Which, obviously, is just the word they use to blanket poor quality workmanship and protect themselves from the manufacturers fabrication mistakes. Why one would purposefully damage fine wood is beyond me. Anyways, we emailed DeFehr directly to tell them that the headboard was in an unacceptable condition and that we weren't pleased with the dents in the other furniture as well and we received NO reply at all. Nothing. Zip. So I'm leaving this review for the potential purchaser of DeFehr furniture. Ask to see the finished product before you buy and don't accept poor quality when you spend top dollar on homemade Canadian goods. Look closely at the floor model before buying. Don't let this manufacture get away with subpar construction by calling it "antiquing." And also, don't expect a reply from them if you try and send them your concerns.

The most low quality garbage furniture I've ever seen. Almost everything we ordered came damaged. Then the replacements for the damaged parts came damaged. One of the drawers of the bedside table came with lopsided holes drilled - waited a month for a new drawer, only to have it arrive without a handle, without screws, and missing screw holes. We were left to eyeball and assume appropriate positions of the screw holes since we will be making our own holes. The other bedside table came with scratches on the back and chunks of wood missing. The first time the footboard was delivered it came with both ends damaged. The second time it was delivered it came with a chunk of wood missing from it. Don't know how they are in business. A complete joke and waste of money. It's unfortunate that I also include it was purchased at The Brick.
