Never have I seen rudeness like we recieved today. We were hunting for a particular item which my husband asked when we entered. we were told several locations that were pretty much impossible to get to that we could locate it and he confirmed the price. we brought what we wanted to the front. We were quoted $60. my husband asked if he would take $50 he said no. So my husband said ok it would be debit. he said if we weren't paying cash it would be $78 plus tax. Who ever heard of an $18 increase to use debit. revenue canada may want to check on this.. When we refused he started getting louder and louder about how he didn't need our sale. Will never set foot in this place again....suggest unless you want to leave in a bad mood do not go.

Went in here for the first time in a while looking for items that i would like to do a restoration on. Unfortunately there wasnt anything that caught my eye altho i was able to pick up replacement metal file handle for really cheap that has great character to fix and restore a file I have. So it all worked out in the long run. Great store if you like old, vintage items.

A decent selection of antiques and collectables... worth a stop if you've never been... inventory is kind of slow moving... so I find if I drop in once a year I'll see fresh stuff... like his sign says... they "buy old stuff" .

You will definitely find a lot of precious junk in there. be prepared to spend at least an hour looking over stuff and having your nose itching for the rest of the day. There is a debit machine, in order to use it (if it ever works), you will have to pay taxes.
