Not only was the owner of this company sexually inappropriate making lewd and suggestive remarks while he was in my home but he also never completed the job properly and then tried to blame his poor work on me, the fabric, the couch etc ! The services were also not delivered on time with repeated delays. I would never choose this company again.

I've known the owner and his lovely family for close to 20 years. He has a huge clientele and with good reason. The quality of his work is second to none. I've seen many shops in many cities, and you'll not find better craftsmanship. While I've never required any re-do's of work he has done for me, I've been in his shop when he has graciously accommodated customers who wanted slight adjustments made to work he has performed. His long list of clients include professionals from dentist offices, restaurants, and government offices. Private customers are those who want family furniture treated with care. There is no better place to take antique furniture. I know this from many visits to his workshop where I've seen the work being done.. myself, when picking up my furniture. I would recommend West End Upholstery 100%

I recently had a chair and ottoman upholstered at West End. I had work completed by this same company about 12 years ago and their work was excellent at that time. I was concerned about their ability to provide a good job after reading one particular review on this site but after visiting the store, I realized it was the same owner. They picked up the items and the work was done promptly and they made a beautiful job of both pieces. I highly recommend this company and Joe Raposo the owner is a most respectful and lovely person to deal with. Excellent service and workmanship!!
