Do not deal with the Brick New Glasgow. We ordered a washer/dryer on line 3 weeks ago with delivery on October 1st. We had heard no update from the New Glasgow store. On the 30th, I hired someone to remove our old washer/dryer. Yesterday morning I phoned the store to ask what time our new set was arriving. I was told the dryer was there but the washer wouldn't be in for 6 WEEKS!! I was stunned, why wasn't I notified, either by the store or on line. No attempt to make right was offered. I demanded my money, the manager said I could only get store credit!! False info. It states orders can be cancelled and money returned prior to delivery! My daughter tried and tried to call to tell her this info. She blocked our numbers. Not only that, she called my friend, who also has had a nightmare with this store, for HER to tell ME I couldn't get my money back....WHAT!! I ended up calling a manager in the Halifax store, who had my money returned ASAP. AS a manager don't you know your policies??

Went to look at mattresses and a memory foam pillow. The salesperson was very helpful and not pushy. In the end, my Mum got a great mattress delivered right on time.

I have bought 3 pieces of furniture from the Brick in the past year, with saleswoman, Dawn Albert, assisting me every time. Dawn made finding and selecting the right piece very easy and pleasant. There was no pressure and she was very professional. I will buy from her and The Brick again most definitely.

We have made numerous purchases from The Brick over the past few years and the service is amazing. Not on top of you pressuring you to purchase but more than happy to answer questions. We will definitley be going back again in the future
