Genuinely enraged at the garbage service we've received at Schwartz Furniture in Sydney. Bought a 600$ Coffee table over a month ago, they told us it would be in in 3 weeks. 3 weeks and a few days later we call them (Because they didn't call us on or after the due date) and they say it'll be here April 2nd. April 4th I call them (because they once again didn't call us on or after the due date), I leave a message asking to have the guy I bought it from call me back because the person who answered the phones didn't want to deal with me. He (Clint) doesn't call back. So we drive in. They say it's in their warehouse. The warehouse is closed. We can pick it up Saturday, because they're closed friday. We haven't had a coffee table for over a MONTH, because we just moved into this house and we're waiting on that one. The table is really nice, but Schwartz didn't build it. We could have bought it anywhere else and not deal with all of this nonsense. Not offered a thing in the way of compensation for how truly awful the whole experience was, which is my fault for once again not being a giant douchebag to people, because that's obviously the only way to get responsive service. And that's a shame. They probably thought I was ok with the lackluster service I received. That same day we bought this coffee table, we also bought a dining room set (Keltic Furniture) and an entertainment center (J.R. Rahey's) from TWO other furniture locations, both were delivered the Friday of that week. So if you're in Sydney and need furniture: Keltic Furniture is great, J.R. Rahey's is good. Schwartz is garbage. (Sorry for the giant wall of text, Google doesn't seem to display new lines when writing a review)
