We ordered a king sized mattress with a frame on 31 July 2018. We were told by the sales rep that he would call us in a couple days to let us know when it would be getting delivered to our home. After approximately 12 days, I called the store to ask when it would be arriving. The sales rep was short with me and said he will call when he knows. On Monday 20 August 2018 (20 days after our purchase), again, I called to ask when it would be arriving. The person on the phone informed me that my items arrived 4 days ago . I asked to speak to the manager of the store. When I asked him why I hadn't received a phone call from anyone in the last 4 days to arrange a delivery, he said that the store is too busy to call me on the weekend. He then told me that the person who calls people for deliveries just arrived at 3pm (it was 6:30pm at the time). When I asked why he still hasn't called, he just ignored me and said I'll get a call Tuesday for delivery on Wednesday. I called at 7:45pm on Tuesday to let them know I hadn't received any phone call yet to arrange a delivery time. The person on the phone stated that "the guy" was just about to make his calls. Over 1 hour later at 8:43pm he calls and said that they will deliver it tomorrow. When I asked what time, he said he can't tell me a time window or anything. He'll call me an hour ahead before it is to come. Coming from a very reputable company like Leon's, we were very surprise of the very poor service we received. The customer service at this Kingston location was terrible. We did not feel valued as customers who made a purchase of over $2000. The store manager definitely needs remedial training on how to appropriately resolve customer complaints and show manners. The entire time, not one apology was made on the way this situation was handled. We are very disappointed and after the exchange I had with the manager on the phone it was clear that customer service only applies until the purchase is made. After that, you're on your own. We do not recommend shopping here for anything. You're better to go to another store. At least maybe you'll be treated with respect and valued as a paying customer.

Our initial interaction with Leon’s was good, when we were BUYING. However, when our couch at about 13 days old, went on sale and we went in to have them honour the 60 day price match guarantee they have. That’s when things went sour for us. We had gotten 10% off with a scratch ticket at time of purchase. Bonus! However, they wouldn’t match the new price and allow us to maintain our 10% off scratch ticket, even though they were still running the promotion. We were told that they couldn’t give us anything better than the new sale price. Such a crock.

After a couple months my furniture kept ripping, and going through the repair process. Every time it needed repair my calls went unanswered and once I would send the email to have it repaired, no one would call to make the pick up arrangements. I called 4 times in the last 3 weeks to arrange a pick up and every time I got the same speech "no ones in right now to make the arrangements and I'll have to wait for "whoever" to come in tomorrow. I'll leave a message for them to call you. Days go by with no call backs, so I would call again and again get the same responses. We dont have a record of you calling. They even lied and said "oh we sent a message to the wrong number and they called us back and said there's no one here by that name". When asked what number they called it was indeed my number but no sick messages or calls back ever took place. I have lots of patience but that store even tested my level of understanding. Never again will I purchase any items from Leon's.

I had an awful experience at Leone's Furniture. I bought a bed from Leon's and during the delivery day, delivery people made a bad scratch on my brand new painted wall. I found them very unprofessional. When they opened the box, I found the footboard was broken. I called to customer service and guess what, I got a schedule for replacement after a month. This misery was not ended, during the delivery day I got a whole day appointment although I have been told that I will get a time frame for the delivery night before the delivery but reality was quite different. Until 6 pm of the delivery day when I did not receive any call from the delivery person, I called to the store again to get some information but their receptionist did not have any clue about the delivery, which was very frustrating. After then, I got a call from delivery driver around 6.30 and they said they will be coming tonight but not sure when, it could an hour or 2/3 hours. These people does not know any manner or professionalism when they talk to a loyal customer. In fact, the whole situation was handled by the management very unprofessionally. I was tired of all these drama and told the store I do not need this footboard anymore and preferred to keep the broken foot board. Later, I bought over 14K dollars furniture from 'The Brick' and every single transaction was handled very smoothly and professionally (see my review on The Brick site). I regret for wasting my time and energy at Leone's and will never ever go there, does not matter how lucrative their offers.

We came into Leons on a Sunday just before closing and the associate that helped us was cheerful and answered all of our questions. The couch that we bought was on a great deal and was delivered the next day. Very happy with our choice to buy from Leons!
