Rather disappointed with my experience here so far. We saw lovely coffee tables online and went in to the store to order them, and when we walked in the Manager was having a heated conversation with two staff members and we had to awkwardly stand by and wait to be helped. The second factor is that since they did not have the coffee tables in the store we had to order them in, which we were told by the sales associate would take up to 10 business days, which is completely reasonable. It did not say this on our receipt, the sales associate simply stated this. I called yesterday to ask about when they would be delivered and the sales associate that answered the phone said they were too busy to check and hung up on me. I called again today, as it has now be 3 weeks and I was told it will be at least another 3 weeks, 6 weeks in total for these coffee tables to arrive (hopefully no more than that). I wish we would have been told about the 6 week wait up front because there were other tables we liked from the Brick and we would have not purchased the tables here. I have not seen the tables yet, I am hoping they will be nice, but moving forward I would not shop at Ashley Home Furniture again as there are many better options in regards to quality and customer service in Kingston such as The Brick, Leons or even Costco.

I bought a couch from Ashley Furniture and it was delivered with obvious manufacturing defects – the back bracing was jutting out, threatening to rip through the fabric. I was disappointed that this was delivered without any quality inspection, but things got worse. Ashley Furniture picked up the couch to have it repaired, didn’t take the legs off of it while moving, and damaged the walls of my new home. I complained to the owner about this, but it didn’t get me anywhere. He basically told me that because it was a new home, the builders would fix the damage. Yes, he wanted my builders to fix the damage that his movers caused. Later, they brought the couch back, and I figured the movers would definitely be more careful now, having already put a dent in my wall, but no. As they were bringing the couch in, one of the guys kicked his boots off and flung it into the wall. I couldn’t believe it. No damage that time, but still, total disregard for my house. I was extremely disappointed.

This store has a very good selection of home furniture and accessories. The sales team are outstanding and extremely knowledgeable about their products.

The displays and layout create a vision of possibilities that are transferable to many home styles. What was most impressive and valuable to my experience was the customer service. Easy going and no pressure. Added value was the home delivery. The delivery was on time, friendly and professional. I can't compliment enough, the staff and owners of the Ashley Homestore, Kingston, Ontario. Go in and see for yourself. You won't be disappointed! Diane Kingston, Ontario

Have shopped in this store numerous times and you wont find a better product for what you pay. I always feel like I am getting great value and products are amazing quality. The owners are genuine and stand behind their products. Highly recommended.
