EDIT: Called the after sales department instead, apparently this is not what their delivery procedure is, and the first customer service representative I spoke with was spewing nonsense...??? If you are ordering online from IKEA Canada, and they ship through FedEx, the warehouse WILL NOT SHIP YOUR ITEM UNTIL THEY HAVE ACCUMULATED ENOUGH ORDERS TO SEND OFF EN MASS. This is word for word what one of their customer representatives told me when I called to complain after 2 weeks of waiting and still no tracking number. The estimated date they gave me was bogus, and I was told to wait another week with no date for when I can even expect them to ship the order. The website failed to mention their two methods of delivery: TRUCK or PARCEL (third-party delivery company). If you buy heavy enough items to qualify for a truck, then you might get your items delivered quickly (within a week or two according the the customer service representative). Otherwise you are stuck in the waiting room for their warehouse "truck" to send off all the parcel items. I waited two weeks for them to even ship the item, completely absurd if you consider the shipping standards of other online websites. The customer service representative I spoke with was also extremely rude, and kept repeating the same scripted sentence. No manners, unhelpful, constantly interrupting me mid-sentence, and cut me off without a word by transferring me somewhere else (was put on hold for an extremely long time, until I just gave up). At least they have nice furniture.

Afer 2 weeks of waiting for our bed, we finally get notification that the bed is ready for pick-up. However, after we went to the store, they realize that they forgot a piece of the headboard in the shipment. They offered to delivered the missing piece to my address in a week time. We asked if instead of picking half of the bed we can just have the whole thing delivered when they deliver the missing piece. They refuse to do that and they made it sound that they're saving us 160 shipment cost by shipping the missing piece directly to my address. Although they are not charging me to ship the missing piece, this would not happen if they didn't forget to ship the missing piece at the first place, and now I would have to take half a day off work so I can be home when they deliver it.

Love that we have this option in town. However, staff was very rude when I went to pick up some items. Had to wait a long time to get my order. For the space they have, if organized and layed out better they could offer a lot more grab and go products. Not overly impressed.

Had an order delivered 2 days ago 6 items 5 were fine last one had a problem called the 1-866-866- IKEA number yesterday and today and get this message "the person your trying to reach is not taking calls at this time, please try later or send them a text" then the call ends I've been trying for 2 days now have looked on line for another number the only one I can find is for the states, What the hell a big company like this and no back up for problems with the customer service line???? they sure waste no time billing your credit card, Very disappointed and the Kitchener location has the same general number listed nothing else. I guess I'll have to drive there!!!

Good little place to pu things that were ordered online. Mainly kitchens in store but they do have some shelving, dressers, night stands in stock to buy there. They seem to have the more popular beds/chairs/tables on display to look at before ordering. Also have napkins, candles, kids plates/bowls/cups and a couple decor and kitchen stuff to buy there.
