So much friendlier sale staff than other retailers we visited while shopping for our mattress. No pressure, sold what was right for us, didn't show us anything above our price expectations, and even discussed how we could save a bit on our purchase. Highly recommend. Thanks Lori!

My mother-in-law purchased her mattress from this location Dec 4th, it was delivered on the 5th and she slept in the bed 1 night. She was admitted to hospital the next day and will not be coming home. She has advanced lung disease and in now in palliative care. I called to see if we could return the mattress, it was within the 30 days window and the man I spoke with said "don't worry about a thing, we'll take care of you" the next day I get a call from the manager "there is nothing we can do, she bought an adjustable bed and we don't return them" maybe it's just because I am upset that she is dying but this seems so heartless to me, the bed was almost $3000 and they don't even care. I would never purchase from here again, nor would I let an elderly person shop on their own, it's just sad. UPDATE: Thank you for calling back and posting your reply, I was contacted by the manager but she told me that she was waiting for your approval to make the return and there were no promises, so I am surprised to read here that it’s been approved, that wasn’t the message communicated to me today. Again, these aren’t normal circumstances and I’m under a little stress, so when she told me there was nothing she could do, I didn’t expect that to follow with let me see what I can do, so I did hang up and that was rude, apologies to Lori. Thank you for going out of your way for us during this terrible time.

While shopping for an extra firm mattress, we stopped by Mattress Mart. Their Maxim firm mattress seemed to be the closest fit that I wanted as I have lower back problems. The sales person was extremely co-operative and I experienced a no-pressure approach to his interaction. What truly gave me an opportunity to see the extent of their service was, after using the mattress - somehow it felt softer than what I felt in the store. The firmness was the only reason I bought this mattress. But after about 3 weeks, I decided to stop by and speak with the sales agent about my concern. The sales person (Cameron) responded to my concern and told me that it wasn't a problem and he'd have a replacement sent over the next day as I was within my Comfort Guarantee period. This was truly, the first time I noticed such a no-hassle based guarantee being enforced that was in my best interests. There were no "fine-prints" or "service charges" that I needed to worry about. Cam took care of everything and had the mattress delivered the next day. Absolutely amazing service. And they've deeply earned my respect as a consumer. I've also bought items from big name stores, and the feeling is never the same. I know for a fact that if I am looking for honest / no-nonsense service, I will always return to this store.

This is our second mattress from Mattress Mart and our first experience with this location. Went here today after visiting a Sleep Country yesterday. The service and the prices were night and day. In Sleep Country the beds were clearly overpriced and they used all kinds of pressure and sales tactics on us. For the “sale” price at Sleep Country we purchased a much higher quality mattress at Mattress Mart for well over $1000 less (and that includes a high end mattress cover!). Brendan was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and no-pressure and was highly respectful of our budget. We don’t have the mattress yet but I am very comfortable with our purchase already.
