Surplus Furniture & Mattress Warehouse

I have nothing bad to say about this store and this staff. The prices are reasonably low and the staff is friendly and din't try to up-sell anything to me. I received good advice and information from one of the staff members named James. He was very knowledgeable and never tried to push anything on me. Walking into this store was a pleasant experience.

Won’t be returning, will be taking my business elsewhere. I went in last week to look at mattresses, the woman working was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about each mattress. I was told about a promotion and given a good price. I said I was interested and would be back soon to purchase the mattress set. I returned tonight to purchase the mattress set and there was a different woman working who was also really friendly and helpful. She explained that because she was fairly new she would need to check about the promotion etc. I waited for about 30 minutes while this was being sorted and was eventually told that the price I was originally given was not correct. I explained this was fine, could they price the set without this promotion? As she began to do so, 2 other employees arrived, proceeded to sit down and eat their lunch while a third employee explained that the promotion I was told I could get was not available and there would be no way to get this discount, the new price I was given was 100$ more than the price given last week. I said this was much higher than the price I was quoted, he responded that the store does not give quotes anyways. I explained that I was told a price, as is common, I looked around and then returned to give my business to this store because of the price and the service, that I didn’t mind paying a little more if the promotion was not available but 100$ was more than I expected. He rudely responded that they don’t give quotes, this is a surplus store and prices change all the time. Without any apology or offer to see what else could be available. I stood up, walked out and have chosen to spend my money elsewhere. There were 4 employees working tonight, 2 who were sitting on store furniture eating their lunch, another who was rude from the minute he walked in and only 1 employee making an effort to help me. In the 45 minutes I was there, not a single customer walked in and this employee, Dave I think his name was....seemed unconcerned about losing a customer and/or selling anything to anyone. This is very unfortunate, as a new home owner, this was an oppprtunity for a lot of business. I will be sure to spread the word.

NEVER COME HERE EVEN FOR A GOOD PRICE. I knew pertty much what I wanted and liked 3 mattresses and was told they weren’t in stack. Then I was actually bullied my an older employee for not wanting to buy one in stock or put 20$ to hold a mattress that he couldnt even promise would be in, and was told “well good luck finding a mattess” then he walked away. I will literally never recommend this place I feel so harassed and it’s a shame as I was ready to make a purchase if something had come in the next week just didn’t feel comfortable putting 20$ down and not getting anything.

Amazing customer service! The product is of great quality and the staff will greet you with open arms. They are a humorous and down to earth bunch. I will for sure be returning to this facility in the future and i highly recommend it to others.

Very friendly staff, help out with making this experience with buying furniture very pleasant. Would shop there again. 👍
