Very friendly and a lot of cool stuff. Scored an awesome antiqued mirror

I made a special trip to find some items for my new purchase, century home. I found interesting pieces, however, I smiled and greeted a salesperson, she looked directly at me as I greeted her and she ignored me. If I can't even get an acknowledged response, you're not getting my business.

Smallish multi-vendor antique store. Lots of furniture, but also a decent selection of smalls. Real antiques and folk-art. We scored a really nice piece for a great price. Will drop by again next time we are in the area.

You will never find two people more passionate and dedicated than Steve and Wendy Hinton of Hinton Antiques. They make a great team. Steve is the historian and handles all the buying. You will thoroughly enjoy meeting him, every piece that is sold in this beautiful store has a story and he tells it beautifully. Wendy is a master of paint restorations and refinishing. Hinton Antiques is known for their fantastic by hand finishes and this is Wendy's department. Wood finished by any other just doesn't feel the same. Her finish is waterproof yet you can still get a sense of the grain when you feel the wood, it's sanded to silk. Wendy colour matches "new wood" repairs to perfection; she is a true artist with colour. As they say themselves, "You will never regret buying quality". So true. All of our pieces from Hinton Antiques are admired by all of our friends and the best thing about it is that our purchases get more valuable as they get older! We can't head north without stopping here!
