Umbra is a brand that offers some cool and unique designer house wears that are sold at certain retailers throughout the city and worldwide. Going to their one and only store/design studio here in Toronto was a cool experience. If you are a fan of the brand you can check out there range of items in person and see where alot of them are designed. The staff was very helpful and informative. I purchased there classic bent plywood Ribbon clock and I love it!! Its worth a visit and is in a cool building!

Really disappointed with my most recent umbra experience. Visited the queen street store and the staff were super busy but ultimately helpful. I was told I would receive a small discount if I ordered online and shipped it to myself. After having ordered my items, they still have not shipped it to me and it’s been 3 weeks. Many calls to the customer service has left me even more frustrated and I am being told, I still have to wait for my items that were apparently shipped to me on “rush” ups service,

Friendly and helpful staff. Unique and well designed selection of home furniture and accessories. Decent prices.

A great Canadian icon and this model store of theirs is worth a visit. They have their iconic and more reasonably priced day to day items on display and for purchase (and sometimes they are the same thing). They have helpful staff who help explain how things work or find you what you need. A special treat is the artists’ studio upstairs.

A bit of a concept store but lots of cute umbra items available for purchase. Staff were really friendly.
