WOW! We recently bought a new home, and we needed all new appliances. I had looked at a few places in Barrie, however I wasn't overly impressed with their selection and customer service. I decided to make the drive to Barber and Haskill after receiving a flyer in the mail. Not to mention that catchy jingle on the radio! I went in with my baby boy, and we were greeted by Lee. I told Lee what I was looking for and he helped me find it immediately. He brought me over to an amazing line of appliances, and he knew everything about them. He was so knowledgable and was able to answer every question I had. There were several times where Lee was able to answer my question before I had even asked it. My family and I came in 2 weeks later to place our order. My husband and I brought our 3 kids with us - and Lee welcomed everyone with open arms. Everyone at the store was welcoming and patient with our kids while we ordered and they were so nice to them. We will always make the drive and purchase any future appliances from Lee and Barber and Haskill. We are so happy with the service we received - and the prices we paid were fantastic as well!! Thank you so much Lee!

I have purchased several mattresses and appliances from this store over the past few years they are amazing!! Prices are good and free delivery in town while the Brick wants to charge $75!! During covid lockdown the Brick wouldn't bring the mattress inside my vacant rental unit, 🤔,while B and H had no problem! They are always helpful and courteous.

Can’t say enough good things about the service/repair team. They are fair, knowledgeable and friendly. All which cannot be said about the sales staff. Went in to get a washer and dryer priced. Complete waste of time. Say with the sales guy not giving any information, not providing me with any prices or even a print out of the model I was looking at. The only thing he gamble me was his business card so at least I know who not to go back to. Wouldn't answer my questions when asked multiple times and kept trying to push what was in stock when it was not what we wanted. Had to ask THREE Times for the model number in which he didn’t write down or print out just spewed out the numbers and letters as fast as he could, I still don’t know if I got them right so now I have nothing to compare to. Very very poor sales staff

We purchased a Samsung refrigerator in May of 2020 at which time we purchased the extended warranty as we were told its a good idea by the sales person. Recently, we called for repairs on May 24th, 2022 and were informed that service would be delayed and we would be contacted when they could come out which took a week. No biggie. When they came out they were efficient and were able to identify the problem. Parts were ordered and we are still waiting for service on our fridge which has now been 80 days. Thankfully the fridge is still working after thawing it out for several days. In the meantime, we have been in communication with SOS Warranty Services company, and they are simply the worst extended warranty company we have ever dealt with. This company has no idea when the part might be available, nor do they have any solutions, we asked for a refund on the warranty as no work has been done but they refused. Save yourself the money and hire a local repairman for your appliances. It was a complete waste of $337.00, and so here we sit on borrowed time as to when the fridge might stop working again, with no recourse as the consumer other than to purchase a new fridge.

We have been purchasing our appliances, beds, etc. from Barber and Haskill for over 20 years. Always got great products and service up until now. Our Electrolux washer that is less then 3 years old has had its issues but Barber and Haskill has always repaired it in a timely fashion as we had the extended warranty. Recently the door latch broke, simple fix really, 2 bolts on the door. Don’t have to open up the machine 5 minute fix. When we called for service they told us that they could not service us in a timely fashion and gave us 2 other numbers to call. The one company had no idea why we were calling them. The other one sent us to Electrolux to open a ticket which in turn said they would contact Barber and Haskill!! We even offered to put the part on ourselves but were told it would void our warranty. What good is warranty if they have no one to fix it! I understand there is a shortage of skilled trades but we were not even offered a service date as far out as it may be. Also should have given us the option to just give us the part. Very disappointed and may looking at shopping elsewhere next time As a follow up we had a service call shortly after I originally posted this and everything is fixed. The techs on site were very polite and courteous. I am hoping this was a minor hiccup as we would like to continue using and recommending Barber and Haskill
