I worked with Michelle and Gary to outfit our Toronto office and campus. Fantastic to work with and very helpful in making large purchases as we were growing our business.

The tiny engine of the electric standing desk stopped working 10 months after purchase. They sent a technician over to my office but he/she couldn't find me and left. I called the office and their post-sale service solution is to mail me me the engine so that I install it myself. I would not purchase a desk from them again.

I recently purchased some work desks from Toronto Office Furniture, The were great in helping me make a good choice as to what kind of desk would suit my company's needs. I ended up going with the Height Adjustable Desk for the Video Editing CPUs, its nice because I can sit if I feel like it, or stand. When I do editing I am in front of my CPU for hours on end and its nice to stretch and still work.

I bought 2 desks from Toronto Office Furniture Inc. The reason I bought 2 desks and not 1 is because I bought the first desk based on the colors on the TOFI web site. While it does say on their site not to rely entirely on the colors as you see them on the TOFI site, I imagined the colors must be generally close to the actual color of the desks - or why would they have the colors on their site? The colors were not the same. They were very different. I chose a medium brown color desk. When the desk arrived it was a yellow blond color. I complained to the owner, Michelle, but she would not give me any satisfaction i.e., if I buy a 2nd desk give me a break on the price. Unfortunately for me I had to have this desk in this configuration FAST. So I had no choice but to order a 2nd desk - this time after insisting that they send me actual color chips to choose the color from. In the end I got the desk in the color I wanted. But ...I paid TOFI to deliver the first blonde color desk to desk to my adult niece who lives a short distance from me. When the driver was 15 mins early making my niece's delivery, Catherine, a very antsy TOFI admin person with attitude called me in an agitated state to say that my niece did not answer her phone and the drivers were nearby. I said don't worry she is there and will pick up. When Catherine reaches my niece a few mins later my niece says Catherine gave her a snotty attitude that you could cut with knife - just because my niece did not answer her cell immediately when the drivers were *early*. I called back and gave it to Catherine. Please don't buy from these people. If something goes wrong the owner will not give an inch. And the staff has a bad attitude.
