Horrible customer service. Very rude.

Apr 10, 2017
TERRIBLE, AWFUL, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. We went in a month before a promotion was up and applied for a living room set. Had never been a customer at easy home before. We are moving soon out of town and don't really have the time to drive up to the easy home in the other city. When we applied we mentioned to them that we were looking to move outside of Niagara, and if that was okay. They said it was, but before we could get approved they had to speak with the other city store and request a transfer. They said they would do that for us. Time goes by and it's almost the end of the promotion, we don't hear back from them. We call them every other day asking if we were approved because the promotion was almost up and we weren't sure if we got approved after the promotion, we would still get the furniture/deal. They kept saying the manger was going to call us back and she never did. Finally we went into the store AFTER the promotion had ended asking what happened. Then they said we were approved. Everything was great. DELIVERY DAY... I asked if the furniture was the display, and they said yes. Which they failed to mention. (Usually you get a discount or it being a display, because random people sit on the furniture) I had asked if they cleaned the product before delivering it and they said no........ Which is disgusting considering the couch was made of fabric and we personally seen other people sitting on the couch... We had asked for the stuff to be moved to the garage, and the one worker had this attitude after I said that. Then he got on the phone with his boss, and came back later to tell me that they will not rent to us. AFTER ALREADY BEING TOLD WE WERE APPROVED. They said they did not want to do maintenance so far out of the city.. And I asked why, considering we had no electronics. Then the other guy said that we were approved for a tv, after telling us we weren't approved for one, and saying he would look into it for us. I asked if that was the problem why we couldn't get the couches and they said no. They won't go the extra mile for "new customers" TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Not to mention I called and asked for a closer time estimate for the delivery because I am busy, I have a life and don't have time to wait around all day for them. They said shorty after 1pm.. And they showed up an hour and a half after. The guy was so rude, had an attitude from the start. When we went into the store at the beginning to apply, the same guy who showed up at my house for delivery was working, and had a HUGE glob of dried up snot on his shirt. EW. Go to any other store but here.
