A branch of a Danish-origin furniture chain, it's not like Swedish IKEA, although you can get similar Scandinavian furniture at competitive prices. This store is much tighter-spaced than an IKEA and sells quite a few items from third-party companies that may or may not require assembly. Still, you can find a lot of surprises and great deals for the home. JYSK serves as an alternative to IKEA but it's not "just another IKEA". It has its own corner of Cedarbrae Mall with plenty of free parking.

I ordered furniture and had to return the 500 dollar kitchen island I bought because it was awful quality. The cabinet I bought was also awful quality and I had to adjust a lot once I completed putting it together. They were great and very understanding when it came to returning product, but the product in general is very cheaply made. I honestly had less issues with quality when I bought from ikea.
