Wonderful store and stuff and very cheap prices

I had a wonderful experience at the economax Laval, the associate Raymond was a great help and advise us well for the choice of our furniture especially that we were looking for 4 appliances. We received the delivery as promised on time and we even got a voucher ticket for amuzement I definetely recommend that store.

Nice place to buy furniture and some orher things for the house

My experience at this store was a complete nightmare. It started off with a salesman not being able to communicate with me in my language, followed by telling me the table I had asked for was discontinued (even though a family that had walked in just before me was purchasing that very same table). I told the salesman this and he told me, the client, that I am wrong. After he realized that the table was, in fact, in stock, I verified with him numerous times that the glass table I was getting was clear, not black. He assured me it was clear. Of course, after I picked up the table and after my handyman who I paid by the hour assembled my table, I noticed that it was in fact black. (My bad for not being in the same room as the handyman as assembled this table- i was in the process of moving and had many other tasks to do that day). I then called the store and it took quite some inconsistent phone calls only for the response to be for me to drive 45 minutes back to Laval and PAY extra for another table that was more to my taste. After I paid for this, it was delivered as scheduled. I asked the delivery men if they do installation and they said yes but it would be extra. I said no problem I don’t really have another option to assemble it. I then paid the delivery men to assemble my table only to realize when they left that they assembled it completely BACKWARDS. After I realized this, I called customer service (waited 1.5 hours) and I spoke to someone who didn’t speak English, nor French. I then demanded to speak to someone who can actually communicate with people in this city and I was told that I would get a call in 24-48 hours to schedule a time to fix this problem. 3 days passed and I received no such call. I then called again, waited another 1.5 hours, only to speak to another incompetent customer service representative. She assured me that I would get a call within 24-48 hours. Another 5 days pass, and no call. I then called back a third time to address the matter and I was given the name of a technician directly. I contacted this technician who told me that he did not work in my region and that I shouldn’t have been provided his contact information. All of this to say - I have wasted HOURS and money and I cannot believe this nightmare is a reality. This problem is STILL NOT RESOLVED. My family and friends have always shopped at economax and be rest assured that this store will never receive business from myself or my family and friends. This is so unacceptable on many levels and I cannot believe that an established store has such a poor level of service to its customers.
